This lovely man singing this absolutely stunning song gets me every single time and I have watched this SO many times. Freddie, when he sings, and all of the little nuances he puts in there, plus his 100% believability, I never doubt that he means what he sings and he means what he says in the precious interviews we have of him. Chills. He is my absolutely favorite, along with Queen, and always will be. 💗

I can't think of one Queen song, no matter how old it is that doesn't resonate with the times we're living in. There's so many messages in their lyrics and they stand the test of time.

My ALL TIME FAVORITE song is "DON'T TRY SO HARD", a ballad Freddie did on Queen's Innuendo album during those last months of his illness...

Dave Clark wanted to release a concept album with the songs of his musical and he asked famous singers of the era like Stevie Wonder to collaborate in the project, but he mentioned once, that Freddie was the only one who gave his best into it.
He is brilliant.....

it leaves me shaking; i love your reaction. There is just something magical, unearthly, about Freddie, his soul, his voice. We have to feel so lucky that we are able to have these music videos, to see and feel Freddie.
Supposedly, Dave Clark found the original, unmixed tapes of Freddie's Audios and released the " pure" Version. It's incredible. Also, check out the other Freddie-song from this Musical, called "in my defense"

This song & in my defense, both from the same show/writer are IMO some of Freddie’s best vocals. And that would be mike Moran on piano. The other genius behind Barcelona.

Freddie couldn't have re-recorded this in 2019 since he died in 1991! I remember when this came out. It was his recorded voice over a video cut, spliced and mixed from different performances of Freddie from the past. Still, it's his own pure, powerful, emotional, legendary voice. And that's what matters.
Time The Musical Soundtrack is AMAZING, it needs to be released on CD.

Hello Dereck - I got excited when I saw that you were reacting to Freddie Mercury’s TIME. It was written by Dave Clark from the 60’s rock band The Dave Clark Five! He produced a musical called TIME starring some of the biggest artists at that time. He also wrote a song called IN MY DEFENSE which Freddie sings beautifully (one of my favorite vocals by Freddie). There’s an audio version of IT’S IN EVERY ONE OF US where Freddie sings with Cliff Richards in the musical. They were good friends!! Thank you!!

Dave Clark finally located the tapes in his vault then stripped it down to just Freddie & Mike Moran on piano. Dave released it in 2019. CZcams exploded …
