- I was invited by Chessington World Of Adventures to go behind the scenes and also have the opportunity to speak to some of the fantastic team at Merlin Magic Making about how they put together various theme park attractions.
In this video both Andy and Michelle take me on a tour of Room On The Broom - A Magical Journey along with talking all about the creation of the attraction. Along with that I was also given an exclusive look at some of the controls for this wonderful attraction.
I also had the opportunity to spend time with the VIP team and zoo Keepers for some fantastic animal experiences. I got to feed the Rhino, Giraffe and many more wonderful animals at Chessington World Of Adventures!

I thought this video was fantastic. I'm a huge roller coaster fan, but I'm a fan of parks and animals. Opportunities to get up close with animals that are cared for are especially rare and I absolutely encourage you to show us any and all parks that have any level of interaction with animals that are properly and respectfully cared for

Such an incredible amount of thought into all of the details and functionality of this attraction, and most attractions at Merlin parks! Fantastic insight into the production and operation of these attractions, I have huge respect for the level of innovative thinking for Merlin Magic Making, absolutely brilliant!

It'll be next week when I'm back from my Europe trip as I didn't get chance to finish the episode before coming away sadly! I'm currently in Germany and will be at Europa Park tomorrow

Really good and did you know you can feed the giraffes at Longleat on the feeding platforms in the African Village and the public gets to do from May - September
We did the giraffe feeding because we renewed are Merlin annual pass

to be honest, I'm not a fan of zoos, or even chessington to be honest (we had an encounter with some rude staff when I was there) but man I cant wait for planet zoo, if we get a zufari style ride it would. e incredible

I did a vip giraffe feed a couple of years ago but that was in the large house. You stood on a raised platform so you were the same height as them. I’m not sure they still do it.

Merlin is not a worthy company of operating “theme” parks when all they do is plonk IP based attractions in their parks in place of the rides that built the British theme park industry. They should be recognised for their poor approach at making “magic” nowadays, all they do is lease names and create shite attractions to sell more branded merchandise. They’re conglomerate that cares not about what people actually want, and what actually mesmerises people, and would rather juice the maximum amount of money out of their guests. Look at this park 25 years ago….the theming and atmosphere was 10x better than it is now, without the need of other peoples characters.
