- We head to Pleasurewood Hills located in Lowestoft for the first day of the 2019 season and to ride the new EGG-SPRESS roller coaster! Back in 2016 the park closed it's Zierer family coaster called Rattlesnake, however during early 2019 the park announced that it would be back better than ever and with a new theme for this season!
In this vlog we share on ride footage from EGG-SPRESS along with POV's from all of the other thrill and family rides at the park. This includes Wipepout, Jolly Roger, Marble Madness and many more. We also check out the various other changes across the park for the 2019 season and much more!

The best thing about TImber Falls is that you tend to get wetter on the first drop than the second.
Honestly, my best experience from this park was before they added the shields on Timber Falls, and the log behind us sent a wave flying that landed straight on us.

Great to see Danny again. He seems like a lovely fella. This was a park from my childhood. I can remember when they used to have an area where you could do your own barbecue. You went up and bought your meat products and then went and barbecued them yourself. Salmonella ahoy! This was probably about 35 years ago though :)

That Carousel played one of the RCT Merry Go Round tracks.
Those dogems sum up a few experiences I’ve had in life.
A slow start, a quick few seconds in the middle, slow down again and then a tame finish....
Im surprised you didn't notice that the carousel was playing one of the tracks from the RCT Merry-Go-Round! :P
Eggspress as rattlesnake in 2001 was my first rollercoaster!! I was a scared 4 year old at the time!! I’ve been on 60coasters....SO FAR!! With a load of new credits to come this year
So glad the eggspress/ rattlesnake was saved! 😀 The station looks great. Wish loggers leap was saved too

As a suffolk boy can remember when pleasurewood first opened. Seems a long time ago since mr bloobys castle. Be nice for the new owners to invest in park. So much can be done with the space they have. Good park for both holiday makers and locals. Love your vlogs. Especially your vlogs of the parks in the east of england

I went here as a kid and it’s amazing how much I recognise. Still looks like a fun day out. And glad the future looks good I remember cannonball express taking ages to cue for hopefully they can get more trains running when it reopens. Awesome video and a great nostalgia trip.

Me and my school are going to Pleasure Wood hills soon and I can't wait to go on the eggspress/rattlesnake. So many memories on there, hope I get to relive them.

Good memories of the Wipeout when it was The Missile at American Adventure - I even remember when it was sold to Pleasurewood Hills and my friend who worked there at the time took delivery of it! Great to see it's going strong.

I saw Danny at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach.It was really nice meeting Danny and Danny said that you might be going pleasurewood Hills on October 2019 and that would be nice as well. I want you to come to Alton Towers on 24th and 25th October 2019. Hope I see you at Pleasurewood Hills or Alton Towers.
This is definitely a park to watch in the future looks like they could lightly theme the park bit by bit because they have the new farm like themed area and the area around the old hobs pit is lightly themed

pwh so a nice park all the staff are nice and can have a laugh with them eggy is probably like 1 of 3 of my favourite rides and the new log flum looks so good can't wait to get dack on wipout and fire ball
I had a feeling you would go on opening day (I was going to go but had a sickness bug) I didn’t think Rattlesnake would reopen due to noise complaints from the Holiday park but it wouldn’t be Pleasurewood Hills without it!

I vaguely remember going to PWh wen I was a kid in the 80s there was just the horses and a few bits there. We’re a friendly bunch in Norfolk /Suffolk.

They had live actors on the miniature train for the Halloween event but I think it was a late night operations so it operated in the dark what a change and amazing upgrades to the park

I used to be afraid of the rides here. Wipeout, Jolly Roger. Them removing rattlesnake upset me A LOT. But one thing I’ve learned from watching Netflix is f*** the fear. And that’s what I’ll do, and I’ll go on wipeout and Jolly Roger.

I’m a local Norwich lad. Pleasurewood Hills is nothing like it used to be. Same with Yarmouth. Got worse over the years. Will be at Alton Towers for 3 days in July. If you’re about, we’ll say hi!

i went to this theme park today it is so fun my fave is the jolly roger i was stuck on wipeout today at the top but luckily we got out safely also i love marble madness went on there 11 time logflume 1 jolly roger 4 eggspess 10 and others atleast 4 i love this park ( go when its raining no rides are closed and NO QUEUS!!!!
Also, I never expected SO MANY TPW fans to appear on that day, that's quite a miracle I have to say! Fun times now! Hope to comment more on your channel soon!😊😉👍❤

I rode the boomerang when it was at American Adventure (showing my age!) and the one that was at Butlins Pwllheli until it was turned into a Haven in 1999. It's sad there is only one left in the UK now.
The first year the Butlins one was in, the ride got stuck on Christmas Day and people had to be rescued. There was also the incident where a member of the ride staff was killed. He played "chicken" crossing the tracks as the train went up, misjudged it and was killed instantly.
You knew you were getting close to the park when you could see the frame appearing in the distance.

On the log flume your boat would be going past the bottom of the big drop as another boat hits the bottom and used to get soaked to the skin! and the timing was like it everytime lol

You know, these parks that used to be hidden gems, like Paulton's and Pleasurewood Hills, they're really coming into their own. Merlin's letting the ball drop, me thinks. Although these smaller parks may not have the revenue or investment that Merlin has, they sure do know how to use the money they've got. The parks always seem to be very clean, tidy, and well looked after. Some parts of Merlin parks look like they haven't been given a clean up in years (especially poor old Thorpe Park). Glad to see some healthy competition! :)

dangersdnb it was a long time ago, early 90's. From what I understand, he ride was closed for a month as an investigation was made. The girl on the front row of the ride needed counselling afterwards. If the ride staff had the same induction and training the catering staff had, it wasn't much. I worked there for a Christmas and most of the following season and my training was minimal at best. I wasn't even shown how much a portion was meant to be when plating up food.
The ride was right by the staff accommodation too, so if you did split shifts like me, you couldn't always get a nap in during your break because of the noise.

The egg express was sooo fun
I have only been to pleasurewood hills once and it was in the summer holidays 2018 but I did still find it really enjoyable. It’s a lovely park but it does have to many blank areas of grass.
I'm hoping this is the start of a bright future for the park

I went on the eggspress in October and we got stuck on the ride for almost an hour 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Missile was the first big rollercoaster I went on; I had no idea it moved to here ❤️

They do a ghost train with live actors and it’s very scary. They change the mini train into a scare attraction
I went there in 2018 and we were so scared and I think my friend needed the toilet
at 51:33 I love fireball and I didn’t know you started to love vortex I know you loved eagles but I think fireball,eagles claw,vortex and wipeout and the one at drievet are the main afterburners

Visited this weekend and them bumper cars are still no quicker. (Dunno why they still open) the new kids ones near the egg-press are faster lol.
They aren't new, they have been there for years. But they have been rethemed
Love the trains. You should check out Pecorama in Beer, Devon for loads of mini trains and train sets set round the grounds of a model train set manufacturer

this theme park reminds me of the one in breame
ladybird use to have two tunnels, dark, with flashing lights it was great before the 2nd tunnel was removed. But this new tunnel is so bad, i hope that's just unfinished other wise.. yikes. it also once had doors operating the train from the queue line. Park doesn't have new owners, been Loopings for almost a decade. You should come back for the Halloween event, as Atmosphere are returning and last time they did the even they created one of the best scare mazes. I also remember they used to have two big trains back in the day
You should go to Berwilderwood when covid 19 is over!
