- What’s going on and welcome back. So I’m not gonna spend a lot of time on this. I know a few other channels have done this but this is my first time so you know I had to record it. Finally lifting the clamshell on the Ryker. I have some work I’m going to do and it’s required to lift the shell. Like always thanks for watching. Please like share and subscribe and there is more to come🤘🏾🔥

I know this isn't what the video is about but I noticed you have the same speakers I do. I got the set of 4 and that is a lot on the handlebars. How do you like the 2 on the A arm?
I appreciate your comment, I like them there as far as aesthetics but I think I do miss out on some sound quality cause they are further away. But the system still sounds good especially considering how much I paid for them.🤘🏾🔥
Did you have to remove any of your screws to the shad bag mount, i took the 3 screws on both sides and the 2 in the back and loosened the two screws in the front but it still won't lift up.
It takes a lil finesse. So make sure to take the front bumper off, take the rocker panels off and the 2 screws under the seat. There is a screw near the front when you take the front bumper you have to take out also
How much gas did you have in the tank? I remember when I lifted mine, I had a little more than a half a tank. Lol, that clam shell was heavy😅. I only lifted mine to change the CVT Belt, didn’t have to lift it to upgrade to the dual intakes.
I don’t remember. I didn’t realize how high it can actually go but I think I had about a half of tank or a little more
@@OfficialJD3 when I changed that belt and worked in the clutch I had that thang all the way to the sky. Lol. Anybody mounting speakers to the sides, I’d recommend that for em. Makes that work soo easy. Gone and change them spark plugs while you got it up. I did. Got that machine snatching!
@@cjonescustomz ya I gotta do my 12000 mile service so once it’s out the shop I’ll do that
@@OfficialJD3 you’d laugh if you knew I’m only at 2200 miles. Since the purchase in 2020 been working and putting in that work on it. Started uploading my pics and vid’s recently. My belt didn’t need changing but my rollers in the clutch were broken after all the performance enhancements so when I did them I did the spark plugs and put the g-force belt on! I’ve don’t all the maintenance as if I’m at 12k miles😂
@@cjonescustomz that’s alright right there. I’m nervous to do mine but I’m ready
