Looks similar to my RLS Twin Kaos Series - sounds really good! A slight pitch difference (LOVE feeling the thump in my chest!), but I gotta say there's nothing more hype to me than a grimey growly set of pipes (ps: guttural is the PERFECT word)! AWESOME video as always :D & congrats on the new sound! :D

Just wanted to tell you how helpful this video was. I followed your advice about pulling springs first. I used a bungee to hold exhaust in place and for me putting back on that inner spring was a real RITA lol. My RLS twin chaos sounds awesome 👌

Thanks, Beth, sounds great. I live in Australia where motorbikes are unrestricted when it comes to how loud they are. I loved the sound of it with no exhaust so when I get my Ryker 900 Ace I plan on putting a 1 into two straight-through pipes on it. I'll make a video and send it to you. Love your videos btw.

Sounds great! I had a TBR pipes on my Valkyrie. Those exhaust cans were about 4.25 inches at the opening. They were straight through but had baffled that would keep it quiet at low throttle but open up the throttle and it sounded like a cross between a small block Chevy and a Porsche in heat!!! The Valkyrie had a horizontal apprised 6 cyc like a Porsche!! Loved and miss that bike!!

Looks and sounds great. I just installed the Two Brothers on my Ryker and it is a racing exhaust. Way too loud if you live in a neighborhood and want to be a good neighbor. I ended up buying a muffler repack for glass pack mufflers from Amazon and it is much quieter now but still has a good note and still burbles on deceleration. I'll do a video on it sometime. The best part was getting that very heavy stock muffler off and replacing it with a much lighter one. Good job and congrats to your able assistants.

A metered amount of backpressure is critical to the air-fuel mixture.

thank you for your video, my concern is the back passenger the tips are pointed up does the passenger smell like exaust and are they expose to the fumes while riding?
DJ, I don't ride with a passenger, but I have never heard of anyone complaining about that. Also Brannon makes a few designs, so you can choose one that the tips face downward.

Totally agree! You really only get 2 tones without gears. My favorite is the sound when it's idling. At higher speeds you def. need ear plugs!
Good job sounds good but u can get tickets for not having any converters on exhaust well in Michigan they do we used to put h pipes on our mustangs had to switch to high flow converters
Yes it does vary from state to state. Florida (sigh) has no emission testing.

Hey ,another tool for your tool box you need is a 12in breaker bar and maybe even a 16in breaker bar so you can get better leverage on bolts that’s hard to take off

Sounds really nice! Did the builder by any chance tell you to let it idle for 10 to 15 minutes after install? I've been told that by a couple of different custom exhaust makers. They say it's to allow the onboard ECM time to re-tune the bike for the added air throughput. Not sure if it's the same on a Ryker (I ride an F-3).

diesel27blue hi there! I did put back on the original exhaust. The other exhaust was just too loud for me, and I would not be able to do a riding vlog with it. There was no tuning involved at all with replacing the exhaust. Thank you so much for watching!
If you have the DynoJet theres a tune for an upgraded exhaust and intake map.

Looks and sounds great on the video. I am wondering how many Db it is. My current exhaust is so loud it actually vibrates my eardrums and makes it uncomfortable to ride.

saw urs and bill ramseyers videos .. he has treal .. theres is more stealth and cones sliencer option add on ... im not gona invest in one at this time .. but id like a quieter version myself .. the treal performance adds some HP i seen from videos ....good video by you explaining it all ...

Hey Beth, can you do a comparison test on the fuel usage with this new exhaust? I’m very curious if this makes a difference in saving fuel. The weight difference should already help, but I’m wondering if that exhaust performance and not having the catalytic converter will also help?

I tried, and just could not capture it. Just know that it is ear piercingly loud!!! Ear plugs are a must on the highway.

Does the pipes touch the body, cuz I know that pipe will get very hot so will it melt decide if it's touching 🤔

The bike runs fine with a new exhaust. Nothing special needed. As far as voiding the warranty, I can’t advise on that. Best to call your dealership.

Hi there. I only had the exhaust on for a couple of days. I had no issues other than it being intensely loud. Not sure if that helps of not. Personally, I love how the Ryker sounds on its own.

With the new air filters and exhaust, did you get a tune to prevent running too rich?
No, I was told it is not necessary. But worth looking into.
@@RykerRydes yeah I got same exhaust and filters as you. Bill said it wasn't needed till you got a high flow air intake with the exhaust or other performance upgrades. Justed wanted your opinion too. I'll prob ride it like it is till I get intake.
One of the things I have notices...The company makes bucks on after market that should have been included.
Interesting point, but that would have really raised the price way up. Not everyone needs or wants all the aftermarket stuff.

Yes, I did take it off. It was too loud to do my riding vlogs.

Hey Ghost! Let me know when your links arrive. It should be anyway!! Without the muffler, the gas smell was too strong, and too close to your face. You can always straight pipe, and it'll push the gas vapor to the back of the bike.

So I have heard that installing an aftermarket exhaust can void your warranty, have you or anyone else reading this heard the same. I am under an extended warranty but I would love to purchase something to replace the stock muffler. Will this impact warranty?
I hate to pass the buck, but to be 💯 sure, you really need to call your dealership and ask them. That way you’ll be confident with your choice.
@@RykerRydes Good point. I did a little more research and technically if the issue can't be linked to the aftermarket product, the consumer should be ok with the warranty, but it appears that most dealers seems to want to link the product you added on your own to the service repair issue and don't want to honor the warranty for that particular repair. Unless it is obvious such as something wrong with the handlebars and they point to your exhaust . If it's not too much trouble I think the best option is to just reinstall the OEM product and then there would be no finger pointing. It's probably going to be a different response for each dealership depending on their integrity. Thanks so much and love your videos!!!!
I really enjoy your video's. I'm eager to trade my Goldwing in for a Ryker and partake in some of these upgrades. I know of a road trip for you, look up "Deals Gap", only 318 curves in 11 miles. It's located, SC and TN. The whole area is absolutely breath taking.
