    Instead of squeezing with your knees brace your outside foot on the peg (turn left push on the right foot peg and visa versa), it's much less fatiguing that way and you feel more stable. I would love to have cruise control! Can-am did right on that add on.

    Great video - exactly the content I needed. You and Coach Bob have alerted me to the fun of CanAms. I am coming to the end of two wheel bikes due to aged hip issues. I feel that the Spyder may spread my knees too much around the motor, so the Ryker seems an ideal choice. Will test ride soon here in the UK.

    Check the tires while they are warm. The air pressure will increase as the tires heat up. 28 psi on cold tires could turn into 32 psi when the tires warm up.

    • @ThreeBikeMike
      @ThreeBikeMike  Před měsícem

      Yes. That is a given. But you do not decrease air pressure in a tire when it gets warm. What? You want them to be under-pressure when they become cool again? Your logic is off.

    • @ThreeBikeMike
      @ThreeBikeMike  Před rokem

      Yeah, thanks. I've tried that. But what I am talking about is the foot peg itself - it is flat/level with the ground, but should be able to be canted backwards a bit at an angle.
      I also added the wider brake pedal. I think THAT is necessary, because the stock brake pedal is so small, all you can get on it is your big toe and the once next to it. With the wider brake pedal, now the entire ball of your foot provides stopping power.

Sewn-in elastic bands hold the cover close, down low around the tires, and two straps go underneath from side to side - one near the front and the other towards the rear. When I say they are form-fitting; because I have a luggage rack, the rack gets in the way of it going low enough to cover the rear wheel completely, but it still works. Awesome first ride. Your salesperson/company did NOT do a good job running through features when you bought it (Mine also did not due to these being in short supply so they do not sell enough to remember details, perhaps). Is a CVT so no gears to show. Turns signals DO self cancel when making a full right or left turn but if you do a soft turn angle and/or use signals to change lanes then they do not self cancel.

      Oh, and I wanted to add I have two other bikes without self-cancelling turn signals, so it is just easiest to transfer the same riding methods to all the bikes.

    Is it hard to steer the Ryker? It appears that you are roaming in the video.

      Only in sharp turns. Lane changes and slight turns, they do not self-cancel.

    $400 for assembly? Leave to motorcycle or car stealerships to figure out a way to separate you from your hard earned money.
    Absolutely absurd. Charge the consumer $400 because the bike arrives at the stealership unassembled? Right! Got it!

    Never understood why people have a problem with these things because they have three wheels.. trikes have three wheels but nobody seems to have a problem with that... Not to mention Troy some more dangerous to ride than one of these

      They are lots of fun. I guess people badmouth what they do not understand. I used to be a Harley guy and owned three different ones over the years. I would not have ever owned any other bike but a Harley. Now I own this Ryker, a Triumph and two Yamahas. Might be getting a third Yamaha soon
