  • Today we are taking a look at the top 10 quickest and most powerful production pickup trucks ever produced! Ram recently unveiled the 1500 TRX, which has the massive 6.2L Supercharged Hemi V8 under the hood, aka Hellcat Powered! As that truck has 702 horsepower, it led me to research the fastest and most powerful production trucks and see where the Ram 1500 TRX fell on the list. So that’s what we’re doing today - looking at the top 10 production trucks as ranked by their 0-60 and ¼ mile times. We’ll take a look at each truck and it’s performance and features.

    Hi, just a correction on your video on the Vauxhall ute, this style of ute has been offered in the Holden Range of vehicles in Australia since 1997 based on the Holden Commodore range. It was exported to Britain just like the Pontiac GTO coupe and the Pontiac G8 in America. Hope you don't mind the correction.

    The Australians don't call their Holden a truck, it's called a ute.

    • @DaMotoristX
      @DaMotoristX Před 8 měsíci

      A ute is still a truck by design and functionality. Look at the Subaru Baja and Dodge Rampage. Same deal with them as Australian "utes," but no one has an issue with them being called trucks.
      I mean Australia also had muscle cars, but some diehard muscle heads in America don't wanna call them that because they heavily believe that only American cars can be muscle.
      What the world needs to discern between is the difference between a performance class/type and where they originate from. Certain trends start somewhere but that doesn't make xyz exclusive to said place.

    • @FYMASMD
      @FYMASMD Před 7 měsíci

      @@DaMotoristXno it’s not a truck. It’s on a car chassis. Not a truck.

    • @DaMotoristX
      @DaMotoristX Před 7 měsíci

      @@FYMASMD That doesn't stop a truck from being a truck. Trucks can be on sedan and coupe chassis and that's the case nowadays. Same thing with SUVs being on car chassis in the form of CUVs (Crossovers).
      The functionality and purpose is still the same. Like I said, car types start off one way, but can branch out into different forms over time in different places.
      Cars never stay the same. Just like humans. Just like life. Evolution takes place.

    Toyota shouldn't have been included as it wasn't a "factory" option. There were many other kits offered by different vendors to increase performance once the trucks left the factory and if you included Toyota, you should've include those other after market, non-factory configurations. Granted, it's an impressive setup, but Installation by the dealer without voiding the warranty is not a factory configuration.

I thought that the Ford F150 Hennessy velociraptor and Shelby super snakes which strangely are sold here with RHD conversions by 2 or 3 dealers throughout the UK were supposed to be performance pickups . Don't they qualify as they are sold new , not as if someone buys 1 then sends it to Hennessy or Shelby for the work doing. Presumably they buy the truck done. I knew of the power and performance of the GMC cyclone , it is seriously impressive now let alone 30 years ago. If I was American I would have owned 1 buy now. Wouldn't mind a Dodge SRT-10 quite a lot of ended up over here , always a few can be found for sale.

    And also on black truck on a pic - is a r/t clone, because mirrors on r/t all time body color matched.
    And, yeah. Holden is ute. Its not correct to call it pick up truck.
