Thanks for watching!
Hi Dr. I’m watching from Warwick, Rhode Island. Love your work, and look forward to more. ❤
One of my sons went to school in Newport, RI for a year. What a beautiful state RI is!
Great video Doc👌🏾
Watching from Johannesburg, South Africa🇿🇦
Just wanted to thank you for this intriguing info. Just returned from Mexico after plastic surgery and had to have removal of a few stitches plus drain. Had my earlobes trimmed and the nurse removing the stitches grumbled about how tiny they were and why surgeon didn't glue. I feel better after listening to you.
From Texas
Yes you will get a better result from sutures than from glue for sure, although they can be tedious to remove the result is much better.
I enjoy watching your videos. I'm watching from IN
Thanks Doc from
Sarasota Florida 💜
Shout out to Sarasota! I love that area of Florida 🏖️!
Love your videos. From Singapore
Wow Singapore. That's a long way from Miami. I haven't been to that part of the world but it is on my list of places to go.
This was very informative. Can you discuss the scaring after the stitches heal. Why is there discoloration or hypertrophic scaring at the incision line?
Here is a video on scar care. That's a good idea though about hyperpigmentation and hypertrophic scars--I will get to work on that.
Hi Dr William love your videos from BOSTON 💚
I’m prone to keloid but I want/need a breast reduction
Can you make a video on that PLEASE !!
Here is a video on keloids: czcams.com/video/ijHIvAGqxz8/video.html

Hello Trinidad 🇹🇹!!
🇿🇦 Excellent academic video dr William!
Would love to know more about tummy tuck stitching. Maybe the operation that needs the most diverse stitching?
PS ... lovely strong hands! Reminds me of Daniel Barenboim, the concert pianist. 🇿🇦
That's a good idea for a video. I will put that on the list. Thank you!

Hi from Texas! How long does it take for dissolvable staples to dissolve? I am 5 weeks post op from extended TT and FDL and I see one white plastic piece on my incision that my surgeon said was a dissolvable staple. I am so tempted to snip it but too scared to mess anything up.
Dissolvable staples are not that frequently used. I used them many years ago but they never really caught on. I think they are good. I wouldn't remove it and follow your surgeon's advice to let them dissolve. They tend to take a longer time to dissolve as they are much thicker than a dissolvable stitch so I would say 12 weeks but it has been a while since I have used them so check with your surgeon to make sure.
Thank you so much for your reply! I wasn’t sure if it would dissolve the part that was outside the skin. I’ll definitely leave it alone.
You are right. The part outside of the skin won't dissolve but what happens is the part under the skin gets dissolved and then the part sticking out of the skin will drop off as the inside part is dissolved.
hi Dr i would like to know if it’s possible to use renuveon j-plasma in a breast that already contains implants?
We typically don't perform liposuction on the breast unless you are seeking a breast reduction and then the liposuction is usually combined with removal of the breast tissue during a reduction.
@@DrWilliamMiami sorry Dr,
i think i did not explain correctly, renuveon or j-plasma that i’m refering is to tighten the skin of saggy breast which contains implants
Hi Dr. William, is it common for the area around the incision line to be hard where the stitches were? And the scars are just now closing up. Under my breast is hard only where the incision line is. I’m 5 wks po from a MMO.
In my experience that is quite common.
Hello Dr. William, I got a mommy makeover exactly 2 years ago and the surgeon used only dissolvable stitches and I got keloid on some of the scars. To this day on my right breast just on the side closest to my under arm is still tender and itches from time to time is that normal?
Yes it is normal for keloids to hurt or be itchy. I would see your surgeon to see if perhaps a steroid injection in the keloid can relieve those symptoms.
@@DrWilliamMiami Will do, Thanks 😊
Stitches are also put in so fluid injected into the body won't seep back out like in the case of injecting umbilical cord stem cell fluid inside your belly button puncture. You have to put in a stitch with multiples(twin, Triplet, Quadruplet birth) because the fluid will leak back out since it's so much.
Hi from John’s island sc
Hello! Must be nice there!
Hello Dr. William, I, and watching from NOVA. I will be getting the OGEE lipo360/bbl done by you on December 5th, 2024! I'm so excited 😊 🤗! I can't wait to meet you and get the body of my dreams done by the goat 🙌🏾! I would love to be in one of your videos for CZcams!
Ok! You have time before your surgery just make sure to get rid of any internal fat you may have prior to your surgery as that will get you the best result. Here is a video of some exercises you can do prior to having an Ogee BBL: czcams.com/video/2uvNwobeNQ0/video.html
@@DrWilliamMiami Yes I have made sure I’m close to my goal weight since last year. I’ve lost 40lbs since last June 2023 and looking to maybe drop another 5lbs then I’m going to maintain what I got. Hope to have enough fat to get a great result! ☺️. Definitely want hips you can see coming and maximum project! 🥳
Keep up the good work!
One thing I’ve seen… is breast Surgery where the stitches are around the nipples… I’ve yet to see one look good. Under the breast really seems to be best imo.
Yo me la hice abajo del pecho con láser y me quedaron q ni de v q por donde las pusieron bella
They can look good around the areola but I think it just makes more sense to hide them under the breast where they are not visible.
Doctor I got breast lift and augmentation I have a little hole at the bottom, it’s been a month already and I don’t think is closing
I think this video will help explain it: czcams.com/video/0e9Nyh-OPO0/video.html
