      So true, I just had a bbl in their facility in Miami on 10/6/21 and I’m back home going through the videos and half of what he’s said wasn’t explained to me. Thank god I’m doing great I’m just confused with the paper instructions and what I was told by the staff and now videos. Paper instructions contradict what is being said. I love my results by the way. Dr. Stewart was awesome.

      @@ramonajones9076 I tell everyone I can not to do a combo like I did. It was hell the first day.....no pain med will help. I just pushed through. The lipo really burns....I’m 6 wks post op and I still have burning sensations in my back. You only feel the burn and pain when u have to move which is often. I had no idea how to sleep. The avocado squished my butt and the gravity chair hurts and it left dents in my thighs so I said fuck it I won’t get sleep. Finally after day 5 I had to lay on my stomach on the avocado with my knees bent but then your knees hurt. Beauty is pain....I can now sleep almost flat on my stomach on a stack of pillows. I hope this helped. It’s a painful journey but worth every single ounce of pain. Oh and sleeping on my stomach didn’t mess up my tummy tuck but I’ve seen other girl rip their incision due to it so be cautious if u do.

    When I had my tummy tuck, my surgeon told my husband that he absolutely had to get me out of bed every hour to walk. I had a walker and every hour I would hang on to the walker and zoom around the house once or twice. Yes it was very painful but at the same time it made me feel better. I was also told to drink lots of electrolyte solutions like Gatorade or coconut water to prevent clots. Lastly I got some compression boots similar to the ones they used in the hospital, I used them 3 times a day during the first 3 weeks of recovery.

    Thank you for explaining the possible complications as a result of surgery. Having a daughter with several autoimmune diseases including one that causes loss of consciousness and seizures I have heard most of these terms over the last 42 years including sepsis. When my daughter had a brown recluse spider bite she was hospitalized and they had trouble stopping the infection. Toxin from the bite and infection Kathy developed caused deep tissue death. She became septic when two different bacteria entered her blood stream. Thank God she had an excellent team of doctors who were determined to overcome this problem.
    Anyway, thank you for these explanations.

I have been researching the BBL for the past 2 years now and wanting to get one done in that time but wasn't sure of a doctor because I want to go to the right person the first time - and of course I have many concerns such as all the ones he addresses. I find myself coming back to this doctor over and over in my efforts to become more informed. I know this is typically done with females but I'm a male and want a certain look (a masculine look) of projection and a behind that "pops" (not the female looking bum with hips), and I wonder if it can be achieved for me

    Part of the reason why elevated white count is mistaken for sepsis is because when the patients go in for blood transfusion their blood pressure is usually low and low blood pressure and elevated white count is parts of diagnosing sepsis . However severe sepsis is where organ failure is involved but the initial stages is sepsis is not organ failure or tube down the throat. It starts slow. But I see doctors now Becareful to mention sepsis until they have more data. They do consider the inflammatory phase of white count

But what I see now not just from my patients, but other colleagues, and personal experiences that sepsis is becoming a very common admitting diagnosis and I think there is an incentive to make this diagnosis and then someone is discharged the next day or two. It must be a miracle to be diagnosed and cured from sepsis within 48 hours!

    question, after 7 days if a patient got a very painful open wound on the thigh from the bbl, & subsequently the entire buttocks was developing serious boils & abcesses dctr was asperitating them with a needle 2 a week at a time placed on antibiotics & said it was fat necrosis. the body rejecting the fat.. this was going on for 3 months until infectious disease dctr admitted to hospital. at hospital 100 indurations were performed by surgeon many needing pemrose - after several cultures. culture came back with mycobacteroim fortuitm what was the plastic surgeon supposed to do for patient for 3 months the abcess were flairing up not going away opening up to flesh open wounds ? at the 3 month mark ps actually told patient she was getting better. althouh infect disease dctr said patient was actually in bad shape & infection was nearing the heart. This happened approx 2yrs ago. there was hardly any info on this on the web until we came across your page.

    From the complications that you mentioned that your patients had did they survive these complications ?

    • @DrWilliamMiami
      @DrWilliamMiami  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes all these complications are treatable. It is always important to recognize and diagnose a complication as soon as possible, acknowledge it, explain it to the patient and then develop a plan to begin treatment right away. I have never had any complication that is fatal.

    Why don’t you use drains for the bbl?

    • @chery0071
      @chery0071 Před 3 lety +1

      Idk his reason but drains are a pain in the butt. Plus you scar and have more chances to get infections

      @@chery0071 I’ve had drains for my 3 rounds they were not a pain at all. I’d prefer drains over leaking like his patients does and have fluid build up etc.
