Goodmorning...I follow you all the time. I learned about you after my BBL done in Chicago by a well known DERMATOLOGISTS TURNED BBL SPECIALIST.
Your work is like an Artist. The education provided is Priceless!
Thank you.
I wish were closer I would have a redo for the front hip experience...
I’m so grateful for your channel!
Explaining and teaching us all is so helpful when looking to get the BBL surgery done
I love how easy and simple he is.
Thanks so much for this video!! Another analogy is for them to think of fat grafting just like a hair transplant. You move hair from one area to another and initially the hair that's transported starts to die but after a month or so the follicle that remains that has the blood supply starts to grow and the hair starts to come back. It's kinda the same scenario as well. Thanks for these informative videos!! See you in Feb.!! -Joy-
Wish I could give this video a million thumbs up..this information is SO important and I've never heard anyone explain it. Thank you! Because of this video, IF the ever happens to me I will be prepared and not panic. ❤
Hello
Aishaha
The way he's explained is good for the people who want to get this done ✔👏👌
Dr William, you are a born teacher! Probably a world class plastic surgeon also. Thank you so much.
I enjoy teaching and the origin of the word 'doctor' in Latin means 'to teach'.
Love love love the man! What a great teacher! I am able to understand exactly what he is talking about. They way he explains and uses visuals REALLY does the job! We all learn different and have different learning styles, so by him showing us in different ways really helps! Btw I am a visual learner, and if he didn’t draw it out or show pictures I wouldn’t get it! Thank you Dr. Miami 🥰
Happy to help!
I like to really research procedures. And out of all the videos over the years- you are very good, clear, and just seem very authentic. I would take your class whatever it is. Sign me up. Sold.
Thank you for this incredibly informative video series, I am learning much more about this than I ever thought I would! I will definitely share all of the information I learned from you with others and my surgeon when the day arrives. Have a fantastic Thanksgiving!
Glad it was helpful, thank you!
You’re awesome no one is explaining these issue the way you are! These are things everyone should no prior to having surgery. Thank you for educating us this is great! Could you do a seroma video or are they one in the same? I know a young lady who’s had one and she had a very visible “knot” and she had to have it drained and it left her “disfigured” she went to have it repaired more fat was place on top of the existing area and it look worst
I’m a nurse and this was very informative thanks for sharing your knowledge ❤️ I felt like I was in a real live lecture 😆❤️
Hello

I’m glad you made a video of this because I’m bout to see my physician in regards to a lump that I felt in my buttocks. You should do more videos of other complications that people can face.
Same here hun. I have a lump on my left cheek also but it has gotten smaller but now I have one higher up on the same cheek ugh.
I'm glad you liked it, we will keep doing more videos in all aspects of the surgery.
@@DrWilliamMiami can you do one on tummy tuck necrosis. Thank you
@@kadenelg9265 I have one on my left cheek too. Its a little painful when pressed on. Glad to hear its getting smaller
How did it heal? I currently have one
Thank you for all this infos
Question, after how long you will know the amount of fat that survived?
Good Work and explanation. Probably the more informal info out there.
What about someone like me who has never had BBL but has very painful necrosis that does not make its way out from the subcutaneous area other than staying superficial for over a decade. It hits the L5 L6 nerves when sitting and causing extreme pain. I think it is a relay from a "Back Mouse/Mice" Basically have had my left side only, either necrosis/lipomas that happen only when I sit. Palpitating it, you can feel it starting at SI joint and near piriformis and TFL and Troc Notch. I've had quite a few docs do some discovery operations, thinking it was a hernia because of my referred pain.
Anywho, You def have a knack of understanding and explaining. I appreciate it all.

Great video thank you soo much!!

@@DrWilliamMiami How long should one wait before have light lymph drainage on a BBL?
You are the best. I wish I did my bbl with you. You give me a sense of calmness. I developed this. Now I can't be able to do second round right?
You can do more than one round if you have enough fat or if you gain enough
DR.WILLIAM YOUR THE BEST 💯

Can you pretty please talk about fat embolisms and how you avoid this in surgery?
Please because this is the main thing I keep hearing about , and that’s scaring the heck out of me!
@@queenhustle2418 he said it's more likely to happen if they put the fat in or under the muscle
Thank you for sharing! I'm making my payment for my surgery with you today! I can't wait till you snatch this body!
Thank you for this video. I had a bbl 8 years ago, had a fat necrosis about 6 months after about the size of a golf ball on my left side that I had removed because I couldn't lay on that side it caused alot of discomfort.
Now I've discovered another one (about 5 months ago) feels the size of a ping pong ball and its putting pressure on my sciatic nerve. I'm having trouble finding a surgeon to remove it, my original PS won't even return my calls 😞 Ladies its not worth it.
Wow, I've heard so many issues with BBL's but thats the first I've heard of that happening.
Wow! Go to Dr William
I have one too. It’s about the size of a golf ball. It’s very painful. Did you have an open wound after they removed yours? Or was it stitched closed after it was removed?
I don't get why there's not a lot reporting some seriously pain outcomes years later
Did you ever get the 2nd lump removed? I’m in the same situation.
So educational! I had a bbl 3 years ago and it’s this Vedio now letting me know I not only had fat necrosis but Superficial fat necrosis. It was bad and painful that’s exactly how my primary care Doctor treated it as an infection and cut them to drain now I have dents all over one cheek and a dent.
Why didn't you just work out? You paid money to fk your body up...smh.
Hey how long did it take you to heal? I’m having the same problem.
I had/have the same issue.
This is literally the first thing I’ve heard to make me reconsider my bbl surgery 🥺
Glad it was helpful!
Hi pumpkin don’t do it trust me
@@jduque4190 my surgery is on Tuesday 😩
Yes..😏 I had my bbl 1 year ago and my fat didn't survive so it doesn't look like if I did something bye bye💸💸
pumkintay I’m 3 months post opp. I think I have this issue right now. As he said only time can tell. The surgery is only half of it. Wish you the best & take care of yourself.
Just my favorite figure Dr., figuratively speaking ❤❤

Thank you so much doctor I m from Brazil 🇧🇷
Meu anestesista e do Brasil. 🇧🇷
I have a appointment with u in 6 months I just want to stay I trust u completely I’m just scared of the how I I’m going to take the pain but if anything I’m going to grow from this whole experience ❤
Thank you. The first few days are hard. There is no sugar coating it--but it does get better quite quickly after these first few days and after that it is quite manageable.
My surgeon never told me this could happened seromas yes infections yes but i never knew of this till watching your video great explanation, heard it from another surgeon but not aswell as you explained great job!
Thank you and if you have any topics you wished discussed please let me know.
Dr please talk about sickle cell trait and BBL please
Hi I was wondering if losing weight will help shrink the necrosis even tho it is dead? Or what are you thoughts on cupping and bringing the blood back to the breast?
Hi can you do a video giving more information on getting a bbl with having the sickle cell trait. There’s really no information about the risk, if recovery will be more intense and what is a good hemaglobin level to have before surgery, or anything’s you can do before and after surgery.
Trait here and recovery was fine. Its when you have the actual Sickle Cell when there may be concerns about recovery/healing
@@natureovermind7649 thank you! If you don’t mind me asking what doctor did you use?
How do you know if there’s abscess or not? What kind of test you will do to find out ?
My question is how long does it take for an extended tummy tuck to heal
Omg this help me understand what i have now i had a lipo 6 months ago and i have these bumps in the left side near my tighs do you recommend me removing it or should i leave there ?
@Dr William Miami
Hello I am suffering from horrible fat necrosis after having a cancerous tumor removed while I was pregnant. Is there anything you can do to help?
I believe I'm experiencing this right now
Thank you for this video….Can having fat necrosis small/large prevent you from having a round 2?
I'm at week 3 and this just started to happen crying non stop devastated
It's ok. It will heal. It's difficult to go through and will take a lot of patience.
Question, I had the bbl/360 lipo. The physician stated that the outer side of my buttock has a dent which never stretched, but the rest of my buttock did get fatter. He stated he could only but 900 in each buttock. Due to the putter portion where the dent is couldn’t be stretched. He said it may or may not get round. I’m 1 week post op
Is there anything patients can do to help limit the fat necrosis? Do you think taking blood builders will maybe help a little?
What smart board is this
Can a person loose all the fat? If so what is the reason's why?? Thank you for educating us.
I was so excited to have work done by him but these ppl are making it hard to feel
Comfortable. My surgery is 10 days away and I literally have yet to
Ever speak to one person that works there or get clear communication or a complete answer to any question I’ve ever asked . I’m scared
hey hun, so sorry about your situation. I am sure that when you land you will get all the information needed. Just focus on remaining calm and preparing adequately for after surgery. Lemme know how the bbl goes
Did you have your sx? Do you have a sx page ?
Does oxygen therapy hyperbaric chamber help?
Can you explian a brest fat necrosis ? It is the same mechanism?
It is dangerous necrosis on some occasion?, please I am worried, this video helped me a lot to clarify my doubts but I would like to know if there is any risk that dead fat goes to a vein or artery causing death, please help
What is the average cost to fix the necrosis? I had it on both sides. The size of a tennis ball. It happened immediately after surgery and haven’t had it fixed it’s been about to years and I am so insecure about it.
Wow thank u
I didn't have a BBL but I do have fat necrosis in one buttock. I had some type of injury to that area even though I don't remember having an injury. Just trying to learn more about fat necrosis. Some days it seems to be decreasing in size and other days it seems bigger.
What about a lump that's very painful deep in the butt 2 months post op the pain had been there since day one but now my butt is soft n I feel the lump n it's hurting more n more everyday
Dear dr, how much fat is advisable to inyect in the butt if we want to reduce visible fat necrosis. Thank you so much ♥️
Where are you located.
I got blisters filled with fluid in my bbl on both sides. Now have scars size of golf balls. What do you recommend?
Is this common for someone who is 10months post opp ? I have this but it under the skin no problems with it at all I only notice bc I occasionally feel around on my butt I have about 5 on one side of my butt very small but in different spots & none on the other side
Hello DR! I had fat transfer to my inner thigh because of previouse lipo dip that was left. Now its super hard and lumpy on the other side. My dr is far from me so io cant get back there. Is this something i can soften? No infection byt deffinity doesnt look good.

How long after a bbl will fat necrosis develop?
This my thing why does it hurts so freaking bad???
Can you still continue massages with fat necrosis
Is it possible to have diffuse fat necrosis after cool waves microwave (Onda) fat reduction treatment from only one session if excessive energy or power used?is there possibility if fat necrosis occur it may affect healing of future laparotomy eg Ceaserian Section ?and if no fat necrosis occurs Could it. still affect future laparotomy eg CS?
Question so how long after the fat is harvested and injected does it have before it starts to die off? And are there any practices that one can do to increase the life span of those adipose cells in one area to increase its chances of survival?
I would’ve like to know the answer to this question too but it seems like they don’t answer questions here so forget about waiting for a response.
Super informative… I had a first bbl in 2019, developed fat necrosis on my left side glute.. the size of the fat necrosis was more deep in to it.. I waited 3 years and never went away… I had a second round with a different doctor, he said he was able to remove all the fat necrosis and was able to injected fresh fat. Everything was fine until the fifth week of my second round… I started to feel hard areas in the same area and now kind of worry that I will develop fat necrosis for the second time😪 Worth mentioning that I do not have the symptoms that I had with the first time with fat necrosis ( the area was hot , bruised and painful) now, I have no pain, just the area feels hard.
Fat necrosis is certainly a problem for us and some patients are much more susceptible and develop it more than other patients--not certain why, but I have unfortunately have had patients with multiple areas of fat necrosis. Usually if it happens it is one area and it resolves fairly quickly.
@@DrWilliamMiami Thank you for the quick response Dr. I really hope it goes away.. I don’t want to go back to get it removed.
@@Mary-fx8xpdid it go away ?
@@Mary-fx8xp Hi, did you ever get it resolved?

What would you say? Thank you!

How long after surgery does it take for fat necrosis to present?
