Does Lipolytic injection help to lose more fat?
Hello Dr. William Iâm a Family Nurse Practitioner practicing in Maryland and I just wanna compliment you on your education. You explain in the most simplest terms so any patient can understand. I also like that your videos are based off of evidence based practice. You rockâŠ
Wow!! You rock! Thank you I am glad you appreciate them and find them useful. If you have a topic you would like me to address please leave it in the commnets.
I'm booking with you my sister had her mommy makeover done at 360 back in March by a different doctor you all do amazing work but You sir Dr.Williams know how to shape the hell out of a body it's like your molding clay to perfection. Love your work
Wow, thank you!
So glad you did a video on lipo 360. I am experiencing the very same things.
Iâm 3 weeks post op from you doing my 360 and I have the same issue except itâs has bruised my skin and darkened a spot on my between my breast, so Iâm glad to know itâs going to heal over time
This is me in the video and I had that same problem because the fat that was removed from there. Make sure you compressed that area even more. I fold a pad in that area to add extra compression with faja and boards.
@@NeekoXOXO hi hunny, how are you glad to see recovery had been good for you look amazing, can you give me a few websites for good fajas
Iâm exactly 6 weeks post op today and this video popped up. I have the same orange peel skin, my pores are getting smaller, and my abdominal wall is hard as well. Great video Dr. William, I will continue to roll and massage đđŸ
You have such a good bedside manner. I checked your prices and they are above the norm. I still watch your videos. Thank you đđœđđœ
She looks fabulous!! She'll keep improving every day!
Love your videos!!! Thanks for explaining everything in simple terms that anyone can understand. It shows you care about people (not just your patients) and want everyone to be educated on these procedures.
Thank you for that. I do! I just firmly believe that going into surgery knowing as much as you can will be so helpful to your recovery as well as understanding things that maybe don't look as good as one expected. There are limitations and I want patients to know those limitations before surgery. As one of my mentors told me years ago: "what you tell patients before surgery is consent and what you tell them after surgery is an excuse"--no excuses here. I want patients to know clearly what I can and more importantly what I cannot do before they have surgery. I always try to do my best but not everyone will look like an IG model after surgery. I want everyone to look as good as they can possibly look.
You are so respectful to your patients, make you the best on utube.. and for sure more of us wants you to be our Dr.â„ïž
Thank you for the kind words!

You are genuinely the best. I've gotten more info from you than my doc. I got the OG faja and loved it. I always come here for answers.
I appreciate that! IF you ever have a specific question or a video topic you would like to see please let me know.
Thank you because I'm 4 weeks post op and going through that now... this video helped me understand a lotđ„°
That makes me feel good! I am glad it helped you. I have made so many videos but I feel as if there are just so many more topics we can discuss and share the healing process as so many patients go through the same thing and realizing that it is common can help relieve anxiety for patients. I think sometimes when patients see their surgeon after surgery, at least this is true for me, and you want to reassure a patient and say "hey, this is normal, don't worry" they sometimes think you are saying this just to make them feel better because they are your patient. But someone else tells the patient it is ok and they are reassured. So maybe I am that other person in this instance.
Just â€ïž how personable you are & how you show women of color ty!
I love the education he provides us with
The more you know the better you look.
I must say. You are the most informative, reassuring, comforting Doctor I've come across. This video especially helped ease minds, for sure. Some doctors, during post op just say "that's normal" and that's it. No explanation, no nothing. So I'm more than sure you are helping so many that have undergone or plan to undergo surgery. â€ïž keep the videos going. I watch to be informed/educated.
Thank you for watching! Please let me know if you have any topics that you would like covered.
@DrWilliamMiami so this topic actually was great. Is she experiencing any burning with the hardness? You kind of touched on the major topic for me which was the lumps and bumps, tenderness, the abdominal wall (definitely didn't even think about it being that at all lol). Did your patient mention anything about burning? I feel like I have the worst sunburn and anytime my clothes touches or I go to put lotion, I instantly feel like someone just smacked my sunburn (p.s I don't have sunburn). I'm assuming burning sensation is "normal". Maybe topics on burning and molding. The molding part is scary cause it's fighting the inevitable. And when I say molding, I'm talking about no matter what you wear or do, your body takes the shape of whatever is pressing against it and forms a hard structure until you massage it out or give it a couple hours. I know for me, thats scary lol
So burning is from nerve regeneration. There is a simple remedy--TOUCH! Yes, that's it just lots, and lots of touch by you or your caregiver and firm pressure, scratches, rubs, light tickle, medium pressure, dragging tissue paper across your skin. Do them all. It will drive you crazy to begin with but it's the only way to fix your burning. Anytime someone says "burning, or tearing or shearing or ripping"--they are all caused by nerve pain.
@DrWilliamMiami Thank you for the explanation. I will definitely give it a try because LET ME TELL YOU! ouch! Lol It is most uncomfortable, especially when trying to sleep. I'm about to have all types of scratch lines now haha jk
Am 2 weeks post op lipo and bbl.... my belly and back is so hardened and i was scared it might be fibrosis. When am full or take in a deep and long breath it feels like my belly is stick together making it hard to stretch especially bending to wash my feet. Thank you for the info

Hi Dr. William, Is the recovery much worse if you do breast reduction, flank, back, stomach and axillary lipo all at the same time?
Thank for share
Always welcome
Hi Dr William. I love your videos, great information. You mentioned to roll the area. What do you recommend to use for rolling?
That's an old video. Now I actually have a roller--The Ogee Roller. It is fantastic. Technically not released yet but it is available on the Ogee Recovery website. It has vibration that adds a lymphatic massage element that really adds to the decrease in swelling and prevents fibrosis and gives soft, smooth skin. It is available here
ogeerecovery.com
I donât know if this would help her now but I just found out about the foam and the boards you can look it up I actually wish I wouldâve known about it after surgery right after surgery but Iâm only like I said 12 days out I had it done like July 27. And I just ordered some and more Fajas to wear
Awesome thank you đ

did you lipo the key area on this patient? is it as nice when you only do liposuction on a patient or is a transfer necessary to accentuate the curves?

Hi dr, my belly botton looks diffrent than before, how can i fix this and is this normal?
Your awesome
@DrWilliamMiami Thank you for all of your informative videos. I am almost 7 weeks post op LIPO 360 & BBL. And I can feel some hardness and little tiny lumps/nodules beneath my skin below the belly button above the pubic area ( same location as to where your patient expressed concern and you explained its her abdominal wall). You did say the hardness in that area is the abdominal wall but the little tiny lumps/nodules I am feeling is that normal in that area at this stage of my healing? And in your experience, does it go away as the months go by? Thank you again for your time.
In my experience these areas all become soft but it can take a very long time to do so. Gentle massage can help.
@@DrWilliamMiami thank you very much for your response. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Thank you. Same to you. Such a great time of year.
Can I use the roller in place of going to massage therapist
Good result
Thanks
This is good information. Iâm about 3 weeks post op with upper/lower abs and flanks with a brick in the upper abs and lumps/chunks in the lower. Iâve been hammering away with the massager, cupping, heat and rolling like a crazy person. Guess I can relax a bit. đłđ€
Wow. That's a lot! Sounds like you just need a little time.
Is a faja good after a panniculectomy/hysterectomy in terms of reducing swelling?
Good question..I would think so. I had a total hysterectomy and I wish I wouldâve massage and wore some type of compression for swelling and took did things differently. It seems to keep everything in position as itâs healing instead of all outta of sortsđ„Ž ya know?
Yes it is. It is an excellent postoperative garment and also an excellent garment to wear postpartum--for women who have just had a child.
How much is tummy tuck
I have a question Dr. William, hopefully you can help. I had lipo 360 only 2 weeks ago in Miami and Iâve had a total of 6 massages. One of my incisions leaks fluid on my right lower abdomen area every time we massage. Is this normal? Again itâs only during my massages with therapist or if I do myself at home. Thank you, hope you can help.
I can't specifically answer a medical question here on this platform--I would follow up with your surgeon and make sure all is good. I have experienced patients having incisions that drain longer than expected as most close within 48 hours but I have not seen a problem with the wounds that remain open longer and they eventually close. Sometimes we see this under heavy breasts where the incisions stay open because they are moist.
How much does he charge just for lipo 360?
I am 2 weeks post TT and lipo. I have these huge tubular-like areas on my inner thighs and under my arm pits, rock hard! I have been getting massages and was told they would go down. Doc said it was from my faja! So I have Epi foam on that area and he started me on a medrol dos pac. I was not anticipating this to happen!
I'm.the same 10.days post op. I can see you posted your comment 10 months ago. How are you getting on present day? When did the hardness start improving please
If I do get lipo I'm only going to you Dr. No one else!!
U mentioned something about hard rocks/stone feeling in the sides do u have a video on that? Or can you create one if not please Iâm 3weeks post op and def experiencing the hard stones in the sides and I am truly panicking đ©
They are normal. Massage is the best treatment for these areas but I would focus on manual lymphatic drainage and I suggest also using a roller in these areas.
My surgeon has told me that there is no medical reason to wear the faja after 4 WEEKS but I see many others saying at least 3 MONTHS. Can anyone speak on this to be true or false?
I love this doctor wish I had went to him his knowledge and skills letâs you know you are in good hands Iâm 4 months post op and wondering if Iâm at my final results yet
Don't push the panic button yet. It takes a whole year to heal. Continue to exercise, eat clean and massage. If you are overweight then you will want to lose weight to get rid of the internal fat.
@@DrWilliamMiami thank you ever so much⊠you are the GOAT âŠ
Why wouldnât you recommend she continue to get lymphatic massages. As a Certified Lymphatic Therapist I see this all the times in clients. Itâs just fluid even 6 weeks out. But it is normal.
I need help dr. William I just got a hd lipo my literally 2 days later my incisions are close do I have to reopen then to drain ? Or will it drain after the massages by me peeing it out?
Hmm good question
I'm 4 weeks post op and was told that reopening your incisions increases the risk for infection. Massages will help to drain the fluid via urination.
Dr William thank you so much mommy make. Over and tommy tuck and
6 days post opp i am tuned in
Do you use the roller with the faja ON or OFF?
Both. On top of faja when you are early in your recovery postop day 1 for example but then as you can tolerate it directly on your skin do it on your skin. But you wear your faja so much after surgery that it is also good to do it on top of the faja so you at least get a lot of rolling in.
Should there be continued numbness after a year
Sometimes patients will experience prolonged numbness but it typically mostly disappears after about 3 months.
Post abdominal lipo when can we start massaging ??
The day after surgery.
Hello Dr Williams I would like to know we're I can get the roller I am going to get lipo and want to purchase it thanks
Sure. It is available on the Ogee Recovery website at:
ogeerecovery.com/collections/ogee-roller
Iâd love lipo, but the Tokyo surgeons say I have too much loose skin from weight loss already, so Iâd need a tummy tuck. Which is more expensive & would require longer downtime and not many places seem to offer it.
Theyâre also afraid because Iâm on a lot of medication for asthma & rheumatoid arthritis.
Personally I don't operate on patients with rheumatoid arthritis because of potential healing issues and asthma can also pose serious problems during surgery so sometimes not having surgery is the better and safer move.
@@DrWilliamMiami I think thatâs why everywhere has rejected me so far, even if I wanted to have my arms or thighs done.
Do you a roller with or without the faja on?
IT's better on the skin but at first if your skin is too sensitive you can use it over the faja.
Definetly one of the Best Uniform of British Airways Cabin crew was this time of the Era.
Im so ready for October my biggest concern is im doin the 360 but its my thighs i need right more than anything else

Omg, I didn't know that lipo is so involved đ I'm second-guessing if I really want to get lipo it's sooo many other things you have to do
Where can we get the roller you spoke of? I am 9 days post op
Time to Roll!! You can get the roller here:
ogeerecovery.com/
This helped me a lot cause I had some questions about hardness.. and I also just bought tht wooden roller and itâs amazing.. Iâm glad I got it..whn I do see some hard spots like in my lower stomach ( the top of my vagina ) I roll it out with my roller and it gets better
Rolling devices are fantastic!!!! I am introducing one over the next several months--mine has a little extra something special to it! đ€«
@@DrWilliamMiamiI want it !!!will it be available for your post op dolls to purchase
@@DrWilliamMiami I donât care what you invent I want it .. I know it will work
6 weeks post op and still swollen ? When will she be able to see her results or when does swelling finally go down after lipo ? And when can we start working out again ?
After liposuction I want my patients up and moving right away and working out as soon as they feel well enough to workout. I have no restrictions for my patients undergoing liposuction. None. But every surgeon is different so I always suggest patients check with their surgeon.
so, start using the roller when
I suggest using it as soon as you can tolerate the pressure. If you can use it lightly on post day number one than that's even better but I would use it everyday! You can't roll too much and it is so good for your skin and to prevent fibrosis.
Did she have a tummy tuck?
I'd like to know where are you located?
Miami at 305 Plastic Surgery.
I have a lot of fibrosis after lipo around my waist What can I do?
Roll. That's the best treatment.
It looks like she needs a good massage. Please get someone to give you a firmer massage it will help you out more. Massage is so.. important after Lipo and bbl, it helps to get the lymphatic system going and help the blood circulate better in the areas. Also it helps sculp your body to give you the results you're looking for.
She looks great !
Thank you love!

Hello Dr. William can you kindly explain around the upper section belly button area after a lipo why it gets soft and lumpy

You can reach us at (786)792-5552 or through this link: drwilliammiami.typeform.com/YT-consultation.
Is it a good or bad idea to "pre-treat" our body for a BBL by regularly rolling or getting massages? I'm thinking it would maybe soften our fat? Also do you think it would hurt or help to pre-treat our bodies by waist training with a good steel boned corset that could really pull in our ribs and waistline? Please help! I am so ready to get this BBL!
Thank so much.
Sadly, I don't think it is possible to "train" the waist--those products just squish you, but they don't have any long lasting affect on the body. I don't think pretreating with rollers will affect the lipo results.
Hello Dr. WILLIAM!đđ
Can we deny tummy tuck if it's recommended, and just get lipo?
Sometimes you can, but other times there is just too much excess skin to perform the liposuction and the only option is a tummy tuck.
My natural shape is like athag and I wanted lipo
Im so curious, you always mention that youâve never had any of these procedures - why? Why not get some Lipo, you know so much about it wouldnât it be even more of an interesting learning experience to go through it?
Lol that man does not need any lipo. He's happy the way he is.
I am not a candidate for liposuction. I have too much internal fat--although many viewers have suggested I need lipo!
Iâm in postop right now and I got a long way to go .Iâm about 10 days 11 days and I would be pissed too if my shit look like this at six weeks and I hope my shit donât look bad but hear us girls going into surgery coming out like we just got a boob job boob job as a literally like I could do it any day but the Lipo 360 is painful and I can take a lot of pain I wanted to do it in my butt to but my doctor said my butt looked pretty good which is good and big but I just figured hey why not put the fat in my ass but they didnât I couldnât imagine weâre going through my ass hurting plus the ass no way thereâs no wayđź
