    Did you reuse the old bolts to bolt them back onto the block? Also which gaskets do you recommend to use

    Hey man, did you manage to take both the exhaust manifold out?? The bank 1&2 they said that the long one idk which one that is, that it was difficult to remove and it was too big, they had to lift the engine up a little bit to make space and then pull it out. How did you do i it? I couldn’t see it properly

    Hi , they need a instant remap (flash the ecu)? or you can go running the car to te ecu remmaper?

    that's wild that the bottom of ur stock headers that connects to the rest of the exhaust isn't gone from rust. I just had this issue the other day that the bolts pretty much fell apart from rust and was causing a exhaust leak. I had to take the whole exhaust off, cut what was left of the bolts off, then heat up the threads of the bolts stuck in the headers with a blow touch and knock them out. shit was a fucking project.

    The worst part about you saying you couldn't talk that day is you saying lug nuts they're lug bolts bubba but all together thankyou for the video made my life easier by taking the wheel off not many other videos tell you to do that

    I noticed they dont have a hole on top to screw in the top oxygen sensors 🤔 . How did you deal with that ??

      the hole could be located lower, prolly and USA version

    I like that you used common hand tools for this job, meanwhile i have alot of electric impacts and ratchets and even a $500 set of torx, and im scared to work on my own car😂

      Please don’t work on your car unless you have another one or else if you get tired and can’t finish and or you rush through it your gonna fuck up. Ik from experience fucked up a clutch on my car had to redo it but thankfully I had the bmw as a “spare” car killed me to daily it till I fixed the Z I have.

    Great video I did the same install but without removing the tire. All bolts patiently can be removed from the top then jack up the car to remove headers from the bottom. I did have a question did you cats come lose at all? After having my headers installed for 4 months the cats came lose and started clogging my exhaust and weird rattles from the honey comb cats.

      No rattles or issues with the cats so far. I also removed the headers from the bottom and yeah lol. A lot of patience with. The bolts

      N5X Garage do you have a tune and your secondary delete? How many miles so far and are you getting any o2 lights?

      Secondary cats deleted, no tune yet. With the headers on, around 2k miles and no o2 lights

    What was the ground cable grounding if i may ask? Engine to body?. Also does your new headers have a sport cat, or what is inside the "swollen" piece? Thanks

    Did you have to remove the passenger motor mount in order to remove old cats and install new ones??

      I didn't have to remove the passenger motor mount, might make it a tad easier if you do but you should be fine

    The muffler place I took my car to when it had a leak in the flange just cut the flange and welded my old manifold straight to my mid pipe so im gonna have some fuuuuunnnnnnnn

    I bought a set of these headers used, are the gaskets it came with the same as oe gaskets? and is there any special hardware or gaskets for where the headers connects to the mid pipes or in general that ill need to source before I install them?

      Should be same as OE, no special hardware but there is two more gaskets that connect the mid pipes to the headers. I would suggest getting them from FCPEuro since they offer lifetime warranty

    Just installed my active Autowerke headers should I add exhaust wrap becuz of the very small gab between bank 1 and bank 2 ??

      If you have the time to do it, go for it, otherwise, you should be fine

      N5XG only concern is that the two headers are fairly close to each other that’s why am considering getting an exhaust wrap

      @@carlosvasquez-hn2zu should still be fine, drive it around for a bit and check for temperature. If you feel it's too much then wrap them for peace of mind

    Did you end up taking the manifold out the top or did you drop them both out the bottom

      Bimmer Boy do it bro! The installation wasn’t too bad however it is time consuming. I just downloaded my bpc tune on Friday and the car pulls harder after 3.5k rpm

      @@exoticm3 Not a problem at all. I'll share what I know to help you out. In regards to asthetic mods. That will always be based on your preference. Do you want the sport look, stock but clean look or the aggressive look? Does yours come with the angel eyes?
