But how to constantly be in touch with that baseline? Even amidst turmoil and depression?
You don't need a "how". "Life" doesn't need "you" to do something. You are the baseline whatever the circumstances. You don't need to "be in touch with the baseline". You don't need to be special.

@@JohnSmith190377 I understand that. But 'not being fed up anymore' is not in your hands. Your only 'job' is to stay alive.
