If someone was watching this and did not know your background, they might think you are employed by the CDC in Atlanta and you repair biologically contaminated cars, what with your PPE and your ice gun;) That storm was pretty crazy! The MR2 is looking absolutely right and tight. If the bottom gets any cleaner, you're going to have to look into mirrored parking space panels!👍 Keep doing what you do!
Technically your dry ice isn't evaporating, it's sublimating, going straight from solid to gas. The result is the same, it's changed into a gaseous state and entered the atmosphere.

There is *nothing* like rolling down the road knowing that, under it's aero plastic undercarriage plastics, your car is spanky dry-ice-blasted clean. You either get it or you don't and Sarah-n-Tuned *really* gets it...

Yep Yep Yep the JDM rear grill does look right on the rear of Mr. Dos. The underside of Mr. Dos looks great now too since you have shot it with the dry ice. This was a nice little teeny break from the Ragnar content but we all know that father time is just around the corner to having Ragnar done so we must patiently wait for that to get done so that we can watch Sarah clean out her parts storage areas by putting those parts on her cars. I was thinking the same thing. Stimulating what little gray matter I have left.
So satisfying. MrDos went to a spa day. Sublimation is the word for solid to gas, versus liquid to gas for evaporation, but yeah, the dry ice just disappears, and you wonder where your money went.

I absolutely love the MR2!!! I had the same model as yours in red also. I'm 6'5 and cuddly and was still able to fit in it with a lot of comfort. They were rather popular here in New Zealand back in the day. Looking at your car gives me a lot of great memories

I’m not big on bothering other CZcams people, I try to just stick to myself. He would be a tuner I would trust though, I’ve watched a handful of his videos and of course back when he was on the channel with Kyle and Emilio.
Hi, i noticed your issue with water build up in the water separators you purchased at Harbour Freight (same as Princess Auto here in Canada).
Maybe try a local pneumatic supply and get a couple of auto drains. They should fit right into the bottom of the separators in place of the manual drain valves. They work much like a toilet tank float. not expensive and work great.

Yeah , the Japanese really take care of their stuff.. Here in America "Mint" mean 5 out of 10. I bought a 20 year old Camera from Japan and could not believe the condition of both the Camera AND the box and owners manuals. Can never go wrong with buying used from Japan... Yeah, you'll pay for it but it will be money well spent!!

I stumbled upon your videos this morning and I’ve gone down the proverbial rabbit hole! Love the “vintage” Toyotas as well as your humor. I caught thinly veiled Tommy Boy reference. I worked at a Toyota dealer in Pomona California back in 1990 and I remember those MR2s when they were new, fabulous cars! Oh, I also subscribed.

When you have dry ice,, it helps a ton to put a layer of styrofoam on top of it,, if you can, you want to use up the air space if you can.. Also, wrapping the storage box with mylar padded insulation will reduce loss.

In Australia we see MR2s on the rare occasion. Ive followed your channel since the beginning pretty much, and youve put sooooo much time and effort (and money) into this car, its a fantastic example, especially after doing that underbody!

I had a 91 Turbo that I bought in 1993 - exactly the same as yours, same color, same options. I've owned 18 cars in my life, and that one is still my favorite. WHAT a car.
Although my brand new MX-5 is a VERY close second. :)
I've got 88K miles on my '16 MX-5, a great car. Only modification is Flyin' Miata's Wilwood brake conversion, the originals didn't like New Hampshire winters.

Great job on the MR2. Love those wheels. Wish my 93 Super Red NA was as clean. I've got a long way to go. Just my opinion but I'd keep the black side moldings. I know the turbo cars came with the darker red moldings but the black/red contrast that matches the rockers and lip looks best IMO.
The rear panel is awesome looking!
The word you're looking for to describe product loss to warm temperatures in dry ice is "ablation". That's when matter in the solid state, "frozen", moves directly to the gas state, without an intermediary liquid state.
