@nzdrift777 yes it's on 1,4 bar = +/- 650 whp.
It's called a external wastegate. That sound of rushing air you are hearing once it hits full boost is the wastegate venting that extra pressure to the atmosphere. A screamer pipe is referred to being used on cars with turbos that use INTERNAL wastegates. Does the same thing, but they are two very different things.

yea a screamer is just the waste gate venting to atmosphere, internal and external both can have a screamer pipe. common on old evo's,skylines ect where its easy to devorce the gate pipe from dump.

What you are hearing here is the sound of what is called a Screamer Pipe, combined with the sound of a Blow Off Valve (the "pshhhh!" sound).

Screamer pipes are typically found on externally gated cars. This car has one.
I have a pretty cool vid of R32 gtr and R34 GTT on my wall, showing there 0-60mph. Sound super sweet.

Well, yeah... I thought an external wastegate was implied, but a screamer is still happening.
@mikej5337 I am pretty sure you wouldn't have a blow off valve and an external wastegate, its the wastegate doing the whistling, it probably has a screamer pipe on the wategate creating the loud 'whistling/ screaming sound.
yeah for a while i thought these guys have to be effing around it cant be something they having such a hard time grasping.

Sounds like every other turbo car with a screamer pipe. As soon as that wastegate opens up, it drowns all acoustics from the engine. Doesn't mean it doesn't sound sexy as hell, it just doesn't have that awesome RB note that you generally retain on TT GTR's.

Term = a way of describing something... I am very aware of what a screamer pipe is sir. I have one "dumping out to atmosphere" on my ext. wastegate... (lol) And yes, I was summarizing something VERY simple that everyone just seems to be drowning in glass of water about it...
