The 2f2f skyline had a HKS Hi-Power exhaust system with a Turbonectics inter cooler and Ram Air filter. The cars engine was the stock RB26DETT that was not modified to make it sound just like Simons. The most modification the car got was the car getting changed from a 4 wheel drive to a rear wheel drive.
It was a HKS Titanium exhaust not a Hi-Power.
+Dial Upp it is High Power.
But the sound of the 2f2f skyline wasn't from that skyline. Sounds were taken from various modified r34s

2f2f sound comes mostly from a single turbo setup, not the exhaust. T51R or T04Z turbos
You know, the sound is coming from the Turbo... The turbo is called Trust T78
This Rb l6 engine sound gives me pleasure, I guess this is what people who watch ASMR feel.

@SimonHN Would it be much differnce if I got a R32 or R33 GTS-T to customize rather than a GTR model? I'd have to go for s GTS-T model due to Australian P Plater laws. And I realy just want to customize the body and interior while Im on my P's.

No it would be RB27DET because block was bored and it runs single turbo setup. If not for the 27, the DET is right for sure.
Hey if you could answer this would really be helpful...Did you notice the exhaust note change as a result of what turbocharger you had? Or was it purely the exhaust manifold that dictated your exhaust note. Some of these older Trust and HKS turbos had seemed to create unique exhaust notes. Cheers

Its really hard to tell with the gtr that they are at 7000 rpm
They are really mono-tone for what they are especially when you hit full boost and you have the turbo droaning out everything

@SimonHN i agree with you. i used to watch a lot of youtube vids about impreza STI's and thought thats really slow -,- until i had the chance to sit my friend's 04 JDM STI with just minor mods such as air intake, air filter, suspension and slight increase of boost pressure. produced around 320hp and 400Nm of torque. when he accelerated i was like fuck!!!!! so actually videos about cars speeding on youtube appear slower, but actually its fking fast!!
