I want this channel to be a place of inspiration and storytelling for everyone to listen to, whether it be about #running or anything else! I am very new to this vlogging/editing videos thing, so I'm still trying to get better with all the little stuff, but please feel free to leave some constructive criticism in the comments or let me know what video you want to see next!

I’m going crazy as you can clearly see
wow, so relatable!
Bro how high are you after this run lol
Hey, Eli! I'm 6'1" 200lbs right now in a bulk. (At my lightest in the past 10 years, I've cut down a few times to 180 lbs.) I do weightlifting mostly, but daily cardio too (usually 1 to 3 miles). I never run for that long. I walk a lot and can walk tor hours, but I've never tried distance running. I am not really built for long-distance running IMO. The most I'll do is about 3 to 6 miles in a single road run just to keep me honest as my cardio machines aren't real running. Do people my size do marathons often with success? I'm interested, but I don't want to diet down and cut a ton just to run a marathon for fun. What do you think a good time goal would be if I stayed at around 190-210lbs weight range while carrying a fair bit of muscle (especially extraneous upper body muscle that I assume doesn't help long distance runners much). I have kicked around d the idea of doing a 2.6 mile loop of my neighborhood every hour on the hour over a 10 hour stretch one day just to see how my body handles it without committing to the full thing. Whatcha think? Thanks!
Do you consider eggs as vegetarian? I dont and dont eat them. How about you though?
Hi Elijah. New to your channel. What supplements do you take leading up to and after a run such as this?
I thought it said "in" his house. Was picturing him running around a kitchen island a million times.
A French guy did a marathon on his balcony
He'd DESTROY his tendons if he did that. Because of how often he'd need to do really sharp turns
/r Ask Reddit seen that
*just casually does a Q and A during a marathon 😂 bravo sir
I don’t know about other people but I’d like a video about conditioning, stretching, or muscle recovery. I really like your videos though! They’re helping me stay motivated with running during these times.
YES, stretching. I really want to know how to properly stretch before exercising
yes
Jonathan Miller idk know if this is what you’re looking for, but I’ll throw it out there anyway. I’m currently finishing up a class at my college that’s about prescribing exercise to clients and the American College of Sport Medicine actually doesn’t recommend stretching before exercising. They actually recommend a 5-10 minute warm-up at a low-moderate intensity. The warm up acts as a transitional phase that allows the body to adjust to the demands of exercise. The ACSM actually recommends stretching at the end an exercise session. Now I’m sure this warm-up could include some dynamic stretches as well. Also keep in mind that everyone has routines that work for them and there is no “one magic routine” that will be the best for everyone. The one I shared is just backed by some scientific study into the subject
One way that I keep motivated about running is to think about why I run. I'm going to be a Sophomore in High School and missed my Freshman Track Season. But the way I stop to worry about really anything running related is to not shoot for some race or goal or time or whatever. I keep running because it's what I love to do. But, as was said by @Matt Johnson , you do you and everyone is a little different but that's what I think about it. 👍
I did a 5k in my backyard... it was 153 laps around the big tree in yard... neighbors thought I was nuts... not sure they are wrong
1229 laps around the tree for a marathon! good luck
😂😂 lmao!
I cannot believe you just decided to do this one day, iconic🙌🏼
Emma Abrahamson You’re the iconic one Emma
Aaye it's Emma
Emma Abrahamson you underrated apricots and mangos on your fruits tier list.
you literally took more steps in one day than I've taken in the entire last month of quarantine
This is awesome man. I love how you say “that really hurt,, it was a lot of fun”. That’s what Running teaches us. To embrace the pain. Thanks for sharing your running journeys
That's what its all about! Thanks for watching man
Oliver Clive embrace the pain!!!
I embraced the pain and my willpower took me overboard. I felt so sick, and I couldn’t even get up.
5:55 You caught a robbery on tape.
John F. Kennedy was about to comment the same thing 😂
Im dead
i think those were kids with boxes lol. but i like this version much better
Your channel is AMAZING Elijah!! It is beyond destined to grow - just you watch my man, n keep up the beautiful work!!
Great video, your my favorite runner on you tube. I would love to see more of what your training schedule consists of and what you would eat for prep during your competitions. Please keep doing what your doing.
Your happiness and smile are contagious; I'm glad I stumbled across your channel.
I like this video, a lot. Thank you for sharing. I like your outlook on life, the positivity, and the smile! Great job out there!
What a humble guy. I like what you said about what motivates you, I think it's a pretty good reason, a beautiful reason!
love this dude. im 36 just stsrted running again...mthis channel is such motivation. thank you
"I'm already so bored" I feel you, I did three marathons on my own as training using a 2 mile-loop (but with a great landscape, around a lake), but you also go in autopilot mode so it's kind of great too!
People like you have always amazed me. I can run for a mile to a mile and a half and then I'm absolutely fried and I've always been into fitness but I'm mostly a weight lifter. Most of my cardio is just walking trails or on an incline treadmill. You're a super human my dude.
I love to run too. You inspire me. I thank God for the ability to run. Loved your video.
saw this on your strava and was praying it was going to be a video, this is surely going to be big!! So glad I found this channel before it blows up, keep it up!
Your incredible man ! GOD BLESS ! Keep up the good work
It's so amazing to see you get so excited about 4000 subscribers, now you're so close to 9000 less than a month later. Congrats man!
Dude you're awesome! I've been thinking about doing the exact same thing since the marathon I was training for, which was set for the end of may in SD, was postponed until November. I think watching this just gave me the extra motivation to do it, Thanks!
That’s a real motivation brother 👍👍👍
This is awesome,
I usually lift and eat clean but I dont typically do any cardio aside from walking. I'm going to start running, I'm excited. Keep the videos coming, I really enjoy them!
I gained some weight last year up until now, I’m at 145kgs. I lost my job due to corona and I been walking 20k steps a day and eventually want to start running once I get down to 120kg. Watching you run around ya house is the definition of no excuses. Legend, keep smashing it 🤙🏾
Omg! I wish I had your energy. Good job!😊
Your awesome! God Bless!
Great video and solid effort man! Very inspiring in this whole situation.
Keep it up!
Fantastic job with the algorithm, crazy how quickly you blew up, definitely know how to play the game. Good for you
Hope this channel blows up. You inspire me in so many ways !
You're awesome, brother. How you answered questions and ran for 26.2 miles in one big circle is beyond me. I hate running on tracks, or even doing the same routes over and over.
This is so impressive... running AND a Q& A!!!!! You are way too underrated
Dang this was superb! Thank you for what you are doing
Love that. Many people wish they could run !
I just found your channel and I really like what you are posting! This is not sane - but it was fun to watch! As a running CZcamsr, I know the kind of work that goes into these videos! Keep it up! I just subscribed!
Great video and cool editing. Good job,
Good job bro it’s really nice. I come from a running family my dads always ran marathons since I was a small kid. Now that we are in quarantine and football season here got canceled I started running. But soon found out I got hurt during football and it hurt to much to run and my dad broke his foot and can’t run. We both really loved running but I have other things my dad ran every day 15k at least man it’s sucks to see him like this and it just hit me when you said you are fortunate to be able to run man. Much love from Mexico keep doing what you’re doing
Yep. Once when to the local high school track. Felt good. Beautiful day, although hot, with the sun setting. Decided to keep going and ran a 1/2 marathon...and then walked 2 miles home. Sometimes, go with how it feels.
you can tell he has a great personality as do most of the distance runners, being grateful and humble is a thing that almost everyone who does distance will achieve.
Love to see that you have 607 likes, and not 1 dislike, such a positive cool guy, keep it up man, hope you doing well
It is totally crazy what you did but in a positive way! You keep me motivated to do my training! And i love your videos, keep doing this🤩
You made that looking so easy. You AMAZING!!!
I feel like your channel is gonna get big soon and I wanna be there when it happens. Really good and inspiring content. Stay safe when ur outside btw!
My beautiful man keep up the consistency, and your channel will grow and become big. And then I can proudly say I've been here since 4k : )
This was a awesome idea for a video! Good stuff!
Good job on being creative with getting your run in. I'm sure it got extremely boring going around in a big circle, so props on staying with it the whole time. Your videos are getting better and better
Thank you elijah! You've inspired me to run everday!!!
😂😂😂 This video was just recommended by a friend. Subbed, and will watch this later. 👌
Amazing.
Very inspiring! Now I might actually loop around my neighborhood and run a half! 😁
5:55 the kids in the back, carrying the boxes. lol
Great vid!
I subscribed today! I have been watching your last few videos and really enjoying them 😀 Please do a video on foam rolling and post/pre-run care. If you could include the items you use as well, it would be much appreciated.
You are the best CZcamsr, I’m always in a good mood after watching a video from you! :)
the route at the end 😂 amazing
I hated the shut down at first but I'm so grateful so have relearned how simple fitness and workouts can be. A little creative thinking goes so far.
This channel bout to BOOM!
Keep grinding with the vids! Not even a runner but love them. It will keep growing quick no doubt!

Awesome content man. Keep it up!

I've done 5k run twice on my balcony because in Panama we are not allowed to go outside at all... just certain days its really crazy! haha think i should try to get some more kms but tbh is not fun at all. Also I've been a vegetarian for 6 months now feeling great and enjoying it! Stay safe and healthy! really digging your videos

You make a marathon seem effortless! Anyways, very inspired now!

Thomas Kane 🔥
I hope it does! He’s awesome
Your a legend
Loved this video! I wonder what the neighbors were thinking hahaha
Honestly just a video on staying healthy while running (keeping back/knee etc issue away) Rehab/Prehab Work and good habits/ things you’ve learned would be super helpful :)
You seem very humble and down to earth. Hope that when, and not if, your channel blows up, you’ll stay the same 🙂
Great video! I subscribed!
I ran a marathon for the first time. It was one of the hardest things I've done. You make it look easy
Dope vid
Huge respect from India 🇮🇳
No trail around my house, wondering if I could do this running around my coffee table.🤔
You can. Do it!
Be careful though. A marathon around a small radius could cause stress on the inner side if you don’t change directions
You might want to be careful, you might get dizzy
