I have actually done that! Friend shattered his transmission being stupid at a car show. Broke, barely out of high school, couldn't afford a tow truck. BUT!!! had a spare trans sitting in the garage.

This is hands down one of my most favorite episodes. Love the camaraderie, the highs and lows, and most of all that wheelie to win Drag Week! I’ve watched dozens of times and it’s better every time. Congrats to Tony and Finnigan for this epic roller coaster of emotions! Y’all definitely deserved the win!
Wow.... this is a 2019 drag week and watching now. This had me in tears!! Friendship, the car, having a good time...this is a great one.

I was there all week watching my son in law and grandson compete and was standing near the starting line when Blasphemi wheelied. It was epic. Was a great week watching them thrash all week and get it done. Congrats Mike and Tony for job well done.
I have watched by this episode over and over again and always makes me happy. That's a couple of dudes who don't know how to give in. Tony is a beast bench pressing the transmission but even before that he's badass telling Finnegan we need to focus . The man must sleep in a freezer he's that cool. These guys are the kings of cool
And all on minimal sleep, while filming, and racing, and driving hundreds of miles between races.... I would have crumbled and failed. As would many others.

This is one of the best videos if not the best video I have ever watched. A car you can drive everyday on the road and highway and still take it to a drag strip and pull them kind of numbers in mph. The most exciting video I've seen on CZcams yet if you're a gearhead.

I think the "tony angelo transmission lift trophy" should be added to drag week. Modify a weight bench so the trans can't fall and crush your skull, any participating crew members can punch out reps at each track, most reps win at end of week.

I had a Chevy Monza that I used to bench press the Saginaw-with-overdrive trans into. It was a bear, but I'm pretty sure that it weighed less than that beast Tony just hoisted. Tony's da man!
