The Panther platform is just soo durable and cheap to maintain but the Caprice looks just so much cooler looking! I had the Caprice for 12 years as a daily driver and since 2018 I have been driving a Grand Marquis.
I remember this episode. Still my favorite. Both the Caprice and Crown Victoria dominated to police and taxi world for many years (though the Ford ultimately proved better). Kinda wish the P71 Vic was the same year as the 9C1 Caprice to make things even. And, I also hope owners of those kind of cars take proper care of them unlike Roadkill because unfortunately full-size sedans are becoming no more.
It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. Waddaya say - Is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
Both the Caprice and the Crown Vic are both perfect cars to build a Bluesmobile it's got all the cop shocks, cop tires, cop suspension, but sadly No 440-inch plant but hey they run and drive.
Doing Lord's work here by uploading this. Thank you 👊
I remember watching this like 10 years ago. Been looking everywhere for it and couldn’t find it. Now it just randomly popped up

Nice. I have a Panther platform car, too, a 1989 Crown Victoria LX, though my father been borrowing it for the last 11 years.

11:34 had the same damn issue with my '95 Corsica. GM really screwed that up.
Crown Vic, was better off road because the car was taller with the 17 inch wheels.
Nice content but we need to be carefull about the preservation of full size amercians sedans... they disseapears of the streets !!!
