Corey got a fan out of me absolute balls to the wall driver right there. Reminds me of starting out racing that absolute thirst for seat time. ‘Will it do two laps?’ That right there is the epitome of what makes a racer in my opinion.

Finnegan never disappoints but when he gets with cotton and newburn they just mesh to well love that these guys have a show together they’re too much fun to watch

Faster is one of the best shows on TV. Cotton and Newburn are just great company for Finnegan. And after the Mt Rushmore episode, I am pretty sure that Thunderbird is cursed.
Fortunately it is dead and will disappoint no further.
Back in the '60s and '70s, NASCAR was all about taking the cars you could buy from a dealer with some mods and race it.

I had a 79 Fairmont 4dr sedan that started its life as a 2.3L 4cyl until I put a 347 600horse and a C4 Trans and 8.8 rear with 3.55's with an auburn posi it was a real fun car.
One of my friends dropped a stock 429 in one about 10 years ago.

I drove the NASCAR experience around Atlanta motor speedway, and those cars can be driven the entire track bouncing the rev limiter in 4th. Still an awesome experience. I’ll never forget it!
With the blower, cut springs, patina, and the spoiler this Flairmont looks awesome

Awesome episode. My Dad and I built a 78 Zephyr, mercury version of the Fairmont. With a 466 big block, C6, 8.8. Bunch of other goodies for drag racing. Drives great on street with ear plugs lol. Would be a great sleeper if the carb and air cleaner didn't sit out of the hood.
