The Perry's about to make me scream! God said to me when I was searching for my purpose. Broken, hurt and very bitter, because I felt that my life produced little to nothing of value in my opinion. In these streets looking for validation. All Hod said to me one day " your purpose is to serve me and I will direct you in accordance of my will". It truly calmed me. However I had to remind myself and still have to daily, that my heart posture in relation to Christ determines my value.

Prosperity is a biblical word; I think what would help is to teach prosperity in the way you think is right, otherwise bashing those who teach it the way you don’t approve is not helpful
I agree that prosperity is a biblical word. However, 'prosperity gospel', which jackie was referring to, is a term that is used for groups of Christians who have the mindset that if they are following after God, then every single thing in your life should be great. Are you poor? Well then you're doing this gospel thing wrong. Do you have a physical or mental illness that God hasn't healed yet? Well then you just don't have enough faith, etc. So she's not saying prosperity is bad. She's referencing that group/belief.
Word word, God can still make one prosperous but at the end of the day is it really cause you doing the Christianity thing more right than the Christian that is poor? Nah bro. That isn't true yk.. God gives wealth to who He desires. Plus wealth is a snare, why should we seek wealth when it will pull us from God? @@phyrcracker93
