Please, guys, try not to put everything that happens (or doesn't happen) in life on God's shoulders. I've heard so many stories of friends, pastors, family etc. of things God promised them (and confirmed he would do) but which never happened. I don't try to find a reason for that (we will know in heaven) but from my experience everytime when more than one person is involved in something there are a lot more chances, one of these people is gonna be disobedient. And the bible tells us a lot of stories of things God promised to people (Saul, Moses, etc.) which never came to life because someone (in this case themselfes) didn't listen to God. And in case of marriage: there is a much bigger percentage of christian women than christian men worldwide. So if you really want to get married give God the chance to also give you a non-believing husband.

One time during a church group session the pastor was talking about not being caught up in being in a relationship and worry more about being in a relationship with God. That in His timing you’ll be brought to that person who is for you. And I said out loud “right! God’s not going to bring you ugly!” 😂 because He knows the desires of our hearts and wanting someone attractive. Like He is going to find someone who is perfect for us and like Ezekiel and Preston said, through time your person will get more attractive in the relationship also as you grow beautifully together through life.

I wasn't living my healthiest life and going through infertility was very trying on the both of us, but part of my diagnosis is low libido/sex drive. When I wasnt "in the mood" he would take it personally and feel rejected. It became a chore & outside of that during intercourse he was selfish, I couldn't tell him what i wanted/needed without him getting upset.

Yes, we gotta praise the way we are led to praise Him. If the Lord leads you to lift your hands, be obedient and do it. It took me a very long time to lift my hands when I felt led to. It was very hard for me at first for some reason.

I tried taking matters into my own hands so I looked online. Met this "Christian" man and thought he was the one. 2 years into it and realized that he was not the one, but moved to another state because of him before realizing it. Where I moved to, I feel is exactly where I'm supposed to be, although the "relationship" didn't work out. So God is so sovereign. As His word says, He will cause all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. Hallelujah! I'm so grateful I accepted His will in the situation because it was very painful to let go of, but I knew I had to.

I wouldn't be able to attend, but I do agree with having the conversation of why. There is a point in a wedding where it is said "If you have any reason why these two should not be joined together speak now or forever hold your peace" and my understanding of that part is your silence in my opinion has an agreement to the covenant promises made in that ceremony.And of course I am not about to cause an uproar and stand up.
