Father keep me encouraged because being a single mother with autistic children is overwhelming and challenging especially now because I am homeschooling so now my hours to work are limited. I’m desperately trying to provide for them. Lord give me strength As I continue to struggle to buy groceries and as I struggle to pay rent. I know you are with me Heavenly Father. Please change my situation. ❤️

Please get government assistance for food, Snap benefits if you can. There's no shame in getting the help. They even have state programs that will give you funding for your autistic child, google your state, and autism funding (make sure its an official government site).
Plus, social security will give you disability money for them. Please get all you can, so your load is lightened. Praying❤🙏🙏🙏

God used your experience to enable me to see the pride that resides in me in relation to not wanting to appear weak in front others due to my early years and being ridiculed for being overly emotive (which at nearly 40 yrs of age I’m still reminded about by my family).. definitely hardened me over time, but never recognised it as pride … love how God uses you two for His glory💯

This is one of my favs you two have done. I so needed to hear this and the break down of what pride it. Pride sneaks in like a friend, a form of a false comforter. And when you look up, you are so far away from God. We need to keep in mind it is the voice that crept into the enemies ears and caused him to fall greatly and a third of heaven. Be mindful.

Every time Jackie goes into depth about her characteristics, emotions, etc. it’s always so spot on to how I feel. I’m sincerely grateful that there is someone out there (whom I essentially trust to give solid and truthful information) who is able to articulate this for me. Super duper grateful for this platform.
Man sometimes I watch y’all show and I feel a sisterly kindred spirit to Jackie cuz I can relate to a lot of what she says. When u said u don’t like to cry or show emotions in public because u was ridiculed. That reminded me of myself I despise crying sometimes and very few people have seen me do it. My husband would ask me why I am hesitant about it and my response was always it’s a sign of weakness. Never saw it as a prideful thing but now u got me thinking.
