Getting Goldfish Through TSA?!

- Follow along during my Minnesota meet-up event and watch as I bring home some new fish from a subscriber. I brought them safely (and legally! lol) through the TSA security check as a carry-on item on the airplane ride back home to Florida.
DISCLAIMER: If you want to try bringing live fish on a plane as well, I would highly recommend checking with your airline ahead of time to ensure they don't have any rules against it or extra fees involved. For reference, I flew Delta and had no issues. If possible, it would be best to pack your fish inside a styrofoam box or other insulated box/bag, but these guys remained cool for my entire trip. Please note that this only works for domestic flights within the USA and you obviously cannot transport live fish species into an area where they are not allowed. PLEASE DO NOT ILLEGALLY SMUGGLE LIVE ANIMALS! Always make sure you're following the laws and regulations.

I grew up "out in the woods" in South FL in the 60'-70's and like you, I was the "critter kid"...bugs, frogs, toads, turtles, baby birds... just about anything that didn't try to eat me!!! Mom never knew what I was going to bring in the house next!!! But bless her heart...she always encouraged my love of nature and never got mad!! 💖💖💖

Love your videos Jennie! I'm very new to this channel but loving it already. My uncle runs a goldfish breeding company in China so it's really fun for me to explore other different ways breeders do goldfish things.
I think you should do this types of meet-ups yearly or at least every other year and make a poll online that people can take to decide which state to go to.

I just wanted to say that of all the CZcamsrs, you were the biggest inspiration to me to begin in the hobby years ago and now as I start my own channel and try to become more involved in the fish keeping community here you continue to always be an uplifting source of inspiration. Just saw a post on a Goldfish group I am in on facebook, and it turns out you bought someone's baby! They are all giddy and happy you took their baby home! Glad they got the chance to rehome such a beauty, to someone such as yourself! That little goldie will not only get a great home, but get to make new friends as well.

Arcade you gonna get at minimum a 10 gallon bowl? I looked it up and they are a thing... but are very expensive in comparison to an equivalent but square or hexagonal tank...

I found you when I was looking for information on Axolotls and started watching your other videos and now I’m setting up a goldfish tank as well as an Axolotl tank. I used to think goldfish were very plain and average but now that I’ve seen more of the varieties I am in love. Thank you so much for what you do and showing me the beauty of these fish.

Love your videos!!! I just got my 7th goldfish yesterday. His name is “The Great Papyrus” (Undertale). You inspired me to start keeping fish. Oh yeah the other six are alive and well. I also have a Giant Dianio, and a Betta.
After such a long absence I'm afraid that she won't come back at all. That makes me really sad because her fish room was nearby complete... We have been following all the progress and that's really frustrating to know that maybe we won't see the final result...

Awesome event you and your family put together. I really like how goldfish are gaining awareness. Fancy gold's are kept pretty close to feeder conditions in my area and they are cheap because not too many people buy them. Happy there are people like you on this planet who are a voice for these awesome little animals.

I have one of her calico oranda babies and he is SO healthy💜 Very chatty and strong in his movements. I went ahead and put him into one of my main tanks and haven't had an issue except flukes of course. This was 5 months ago. But I will definitely will quarantine next time. The boyfriend bought me a Goldfishnet fish for my bday. It will be shipped near end of September but WOW can't wait!! I'll start setting up his tank this coming week 😊💕 an orange Kirin oranda w a grumpy face. Can't get sexier than that ppl!~

Jenny, you are my inspiration! I keep mostly guppies, bettas and bristlenose, but yesterday I broke my vow. I swore I would never own goldfish, but I bought TWO fancy goldfish. Just a couple of little petsmart fancies but I'm in love with them! Watching your videos create ideas and dreams for what I want in the future as far as a fish room and having my own channel and I can't wait to get more involved with fancy goldfish!

It's really none of our business what she does in her private life. You may feel entitled to know when she's feeling down, and why, and a bunch of other personal things, but really you don't know her or her story, so lighten up. It's not her responsibility to update us. She's free to post videos whenever, and while that may seem suspicious or rude, she clearly has other things to focus on and that should be okay. If you truly cared for her health, you wouldn't be demanding she get onto social media, or CZcams, or wherever, and put her mental health on the side for your own reassurance. She's fine. She posted an update in September on her Facebook. That should be enough.

truly1676 give her a break she has health issues, im not sure what kind, but sometimes people dont snap back easy. She not dropped anything , not on purpose . Dont make her feel guilty because she probably cant help what ever she is going through.
She's not dropping anything. She's simply setting all of this aside for a while to focus on her mental health. That is perfectly okay. She posted on her instagram and Facebook in September that she doesn't know when she will come back, but she will. That should be enough for us as her fans.

Yes they should, but the buyer should have done their own research before getting the fish and adult size is one of the most basic things you should know... If you are relying on a pet store for care advice then its an impulse buy and you shouldn't be buying the animal
Please find validation elsewhere, you shouldn't look for validation online, it'll mess you up.
Honestly a FISH store will usually tell you if you ask. Walmart, Petco and PetSmart places may not even know. This is why you should always research and fully understand what you are getting into!
actually petco and petsmarts are getting a lot better.
at my place when someone tries to buy fish the employees actually tell them the minimum tank size and basic care and stuff.
Sometimes they don't let people buy fish if they don't want to get the right items for the fish, e.g. filter, lights, proper size, etc.
but walmart still succcccs
