Agreed. I adored this channel because I've always loved goldfish so much... but it is veering more and more away from that content and is becoming like every other "look at all the different kinds of animals I have! Watch me do X with them!" channel out there, which makes me sad. : /

Neons are not temperature compatible with the angels. Cardinal tetras are, and have more color than neons. However, fully grown angels can eat them, so you'll want a large school or something slightly larger. I had harlequin Rasbora in mine because they aren't as feisty as phantom or skirt tetras but still have very pretty patterns for a mid level occupant. Otocinclus also aren't fans of upper 70s/lower 80s so I'd not get more. Amano shrimp would be a better option, they're algae busters, and large enough to hold their own.

I have only just come across your videos. We have two largish tanks, one with neon tetras, some little catfish, two beautiful platinum Angels and a baby black and silver one which I got the other day. Our bigger tank has mainly cichlids. We bought 2 silver dollars a couple of years ago and they are now humungous, four electric yellows, a couple of gold gouramis, two huge blue spotted cichlids (not sure of the name) and a frontosa which I got the other day. I am starting to take more interest in our tanks, as I broke my ankle in February and had to just sit and entertain myself for several months. The big tank is right next to my chair, so I spend lots of time just watching the fish. We also have a big pond outside with heaps of goldfish and koi in it. Thank you for your fantastic video.

Neons and angelfish together is a big nono. The neons will be food for the angels. Go for somekind of high bodied tetra instead. Or maybe emperor tetras, they're big enough not to be seen as food by the angels. Looking at your sword plants it seems that they might be planted a little bit too deep. The substrate shouldn't cover the "rosette". But it's abeautiful tank and I'nm jelaous on your lace plants.

Just now seeing this. Angelfish are a favorite of mine. Surprisingly, my favorite aquascape I ever did for them (in a large aquarium of only Angelfish) is that I offered more than one open space for swimming and the rest of it was a "forest of trees." I used long plants that went from halfway to the surface and up to the top of the water in length (long, tall plants) and spaced them out as if each plant was a tree in a forest. The Angelfish loved swimming through them. So they had good protection, boundaries, and open spaces. It looked great with their long, tall bodies having long, tall "trees." The substrate was dark. It was really beautiful. I first practiced the aquascape in a 20 tall with a sorority of only 6 female bettas and it worked really well with them, too.

However I should mention that my tank is 195 gallons / 750 liters so lots of space for territories. Best chance in a small tank would be keeping 1 male and 3-4 females, but only males works too. It also helps if you have lots of different fish in the tank, constantly moving around. All in all they are not overly aggressive, make lots of hiding places for them and they'll be fine

My fav is my red flame male gourami, next are my 2 corys I love them. They are 2 yrs old, as is my 10 gal. tank. I adore my 4 zebra danios. Each of these species have personality and fun to watch.

That's an awesome tank, I could get lost in it just watching the fish eat and interact with each other.

I had the same problem when I only kept 2 otocinclus with them not cleaning a lot or being very active. I learned later that they are more gregarious fish, and I have a group of 8 now that are all over and the tank is super clean.

    Hi Jenny.
    It's nice to see you.
    I like the name Leafy.
That Aquarium has really developed into as spectacular looking Aquarium, the Madagascar Lace Plant is Very big now, I remember when you added that to the Aquarium, it was a cute Juvenile plant, it is also nice to see you have added more plants.
Those Plecostumes have really grown, they look very beautiful.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Have a nice day.

Otocinclus are much more active in larger groups ! I have 5 and they all swim around the tank ^^ I have a 65g planted asian tank, with 2 pearl gouramis, 7 golden barbs, 4 siamese algae eaters, 15 harlequin rasboras, 12 khuli loaches and a bunch of shrimps ! I can't choose a favorite, they are all adorable ^^
I also have a 20g amazonian planted tank with 5 otos, 2 german blue rams, 10 cardinal tetras, 2 amano shrimps and 2 assassin snails. The rams have so much personnality !

I had an Eheim filter 30 years ago. When I finally got back to keeping fish again I researched filters and found that the eheim is still a great filter. I love mine.

So glad to see you back again and I think blood fin tetras would looks so nice in to 90g. My favorite fish in my 20g tropical community tank are my two balloon belly mollies. They remind me of the big bellies that gold fish have, wish I had the space for a gold fish tank.

My favorite fish in my tank is probably my African butterfly fish, but my angel fish are more interactive with me. It's hard to pick just one. My fire mouth has the best colors... glad to see a new video from you.
