    Does feeding a variety count if you mix it all together? Lol I mix community and spirulina flakes together and feed that 3-4 days a week. Well I guess I do still switch it up because then I feed a day of repashy “jerky” for the catfish, a day of frozen daphnia, no feed day, repeat. I just mix my flakes 🤷‍♀️ I’m also testing out trying to keep the flakes fresher and cheaper by buying in bulk, freezing the large jars, and then keeping out tiny containers that I can refill after a few weeks

      @liamcooper6721 Před rokem

      1. 26 - 28 (78 - 82)
      2. once you have eggs or fry, don't. not until they are fully formed free simmers then 10% ever 4 days with aged water not water you just treated. honestly I never did water changes as my plants could keep up with the bio load of my fish (high tech planted tank). Also I didn't get angels to breed, it was a side effect.

    6 in a 55 wow. I just put two in my 75 and figure when they mature they'll fill the tank well enough. On top of that if they do prove to be a male and a female and pair off, all I will have to worry about is the one maybe two rainbows if they're still around.

    • @ohrats731

      Yeah I was watching Aquarium Co-op and Dean was talking about his fish breeding. He culls really heavily because he wants to produce the best possible fish and I believe he euthanizes the culls. If I were to breed fish I’d want to give my subpar fish to people who don’t mind and aren’t going to breed or show them. But I understand that professional breeders want to have a reputation for only stellar fish....

    I've kept angels in a dual canister tank by using rubber bands and betta fish plastic plants to block/divert the output. But I could tell at a glance when the rubber bands had slipped because the angels were all pushed to the opposite side of the tank. Really not athletic swimmers. The opposite of rainbowfish. But canister filtration for community tanks can be used, you just need to look into spray bars, rain bars, or homebrew DIY rubber-bands-and-plastic-plants type ways to block current on output.
