WATCH LIVE: House holds hearing on Columbia University's response to antisemitism

- Columbia University is in the hot seat as House Republicans are ready to question four of its top officials on Wednesday for a hearing regarding antisemitism on campus.
Columbia President Nemat Shafik, along with two members of the Board of Trustees and a professor, will be questioned by the House Education and the Workforce Committee after missing the December hearing that became the downfall of other university heads.
Shafik was invited to the December hearing that also focused on antisemitism at Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) but was unable to make it due to previous travel plans.
The hearing is slated to begin at 10:15 a.m. EDT.
All the lefty news channels have comments turned off for this one. They can't handle seeing how many Americans are upset by anti-Semitism on our college campuses.

Rep. Rick Allen is using the Old Testament to advocate for the protections of Jews and Israel on campuses. Considering the religious conflict involved in the Gaza conflict, I would prefer that we keep references to religious texts out of discussion of hatred of people practicing certain faiths. The U.S. protects practicing of many faiths, but it is ultimately a secular government.

Ms. Foxx’s analysis of the current issue with reference to The Civil Rights Act on behalf of Jewish American students experiencing discrimination is spot on. She clearly differentiates between the non-student, non-federally funded particulars of the 2017 White Supremacist riot in VA and the violation of Jewish students’ rights on campuses across this country as the illegal status quo.

Dr. Shafik nicely evaded the Stefanik's question about the chant "from the river to the sea."
that question is basically [and usually] a pro-israel PROPAGANDA to pretend that the chant is "antisemitic" or a genocidal vision at the base of the "destruction of israel" (I'm citing the repetitive copy/paste statement of some of the top politicians from different countries, as for example Braverman/UK).
The [not so] funny part is that the very same phrase, even if the origin is disputed, was initially used in the zionist movements and in the last 50-60 years used by the likud party's political propaganda; moreover even used by netanyahu with different wordings.
"From the river to the sea...", as long as not clearly explained by who says it, cannot be presumed to be "antisemitic" but as presumed to be a liberation chant or statement of presumed sovereignity over a territory (etc).
Basically she did the right thing to avoid a manipulative, pernicious and inconsistent question with the evident purpose to just frame her in a false narrative.
