I am horrified at what they say has been happening at the University, but more horrified at what the President and other leaders at Columbia have said about what has NOT been done! It’s much worse than I thought, and I’m shocked that so little has been done. I would have thought that professors by the dozens would have been escorted from their classrooms, never to return, the President and many other Administrative people fired, and students suspended permanently. My God, how could this be happening at Universities in the USA? Have we imported these people, or done it to ourselves, or both? Shame, Shame!

As I write this, there have been about 33,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, killed. The insane rate of Palestinians being killed has been the big driving force of protests against the *Israeli government* globally, and not just on college campuses. So if *any* discussion of supposed anti-semitism on college campuses starts off with no mention of this, you can safely assume that it's just politically driven, willfully ignorant garbage -- no exceptions.
Their self-centered focus detracts from meaningful dialogue and practical solutions, suggesting they do not truly intend to take substantive action.

The president thinks that education is the answer. It seems more likely that education is the problem. I suspect she is BSing the committee but she may be ultra wimpy as well. Multiple letters of caution or warning are laughable. Suspensions are ineffective. Expulsion is what is needed. If she can't do that then she should be expelled and get someone who can. I find it hard to take seriously the board members who express revulsion at what's happening on their campus but insist on anything less.
Talking and talking to all those universities presidents and not taking any action about it and it continues because they see that noone gets hurt from this behavior
