Been a while since I made something sweet, so here's my recipe for making brownies in a cast iron skillet. In this case I just used the lid of my smallest Dutch Oven. Don't really like to carry cast iron on trips because of the weight and maintenance, but when you are craving chocolate this can't be beat! :)
Its a fun recipe to make with kids when you are out camping, or a dessert you can impress your camping buddies with. The best thing about this recipe is the ease with which you can can just add anything that goes well with chocolate, like coffee or nuts, or both! Enjoy!

Brownie dry mix Recipe:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder*
4 Tbs cocoa
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cinnamon
1 Tbsp instant coffee (optional)
Chopped nuts (optional)
One egg (optional)
