Damn Evan, your daily advice hit right in the feels... Have been working harder than anything to please what my partner wants and what I should do NOT for myself and have pretty much lost interest in anything I used to be passionate for and have myself in a DEEP hole, almost don't know what to feel or think some days...
You're not alone brother. Past few years have been really hard on a lot of people with rising costs of living and the same old pay we have been getting for the past 10 years for most. Keep on keeping on man, you'll make it someday.

Dude your advice was spot on man. It hit so hard. I use to bend over backwards to help my family and expecting nothing in return. My brothers ex came onto me and I told her I wasn't interested. A year later he slept with someone I loved. All my family were toxic. I cut them out like 8 years ago not long before my mum passed away. I only speak to my dad now. Not spoke to the rest of them since and if I speak to them I the next life it will be to soon.
You're right man, being a people pleaser does ruin you. Said it once and I'll say it again, you're the man Evan.

i just wanna say hearing the end of the video about people pleasing touched me and i felt that on such a personal level because i’ve struggled for long and trying to make everyone else happy before myself and i finally learned that people will truly never care about you as much you care about yourself

you need to get yourself an EG front subframe and manual rack to accommodate the k24 swap . and if your going to make more than 400whp please build the transmission .

Neat find. Instead of the k series.. Look into L15b7 honda swap.. Oem Honda engine boosted. Take a look. Exterior for the ek hatch source a jdm front end..

that's the one reason why I have a lot of respect for you Evan, you are not a people pleaser you do things for yourself and your family and I respect that man, and me I stopped caring what people thought about me years ago and started doing stuff for me, I put my head down and focused on the things I wanted in life and ever since I did that I've managed to successfully acquire every single thing in life I've ever wanted and I've already done everything in life I've ever wanted to do to and because of that I now feel content and I feel happy, so that's why in my opinion people need to take today's advice and go for it do what makes you happy😀

If youre trying to get a sleeper but cool look you should do the ek9 body kit and interior. The ek9 recaros are the best seats I've ever seat on very comfy and you can regulate them and they look so freaking sick

If you're going K series make sure you get an EG subframe. Makes things much easier.

I bought my first car not that long ago and it’s a 1999 Honda Civic lx and I’m about to put full front suspension and shocks and struts just ordered the parts today
Set it up for time attack/road course racing. Make the coupe for drag racing.
You know as a lover for a stock cars I think you should keep the raising stripes

I wish I had pictures but I used to have a hatch that looked literally just like that, colour and all. I miss tinkering with Civics, I definitely understand where Evan is coming from.

Nice hatch! But I’d definitely take the frs behind it though.
Best bet is to use the crv diff and trailing arm and maybe the drive shaft after that youll just need the stuff to bolt it on and axel
