The Ferrari Purosangue is finally HERE!
Mat’s rolled up in the Lamborghini Urus Performante, and he’s about to see if it has what it takes to bring down this all-new Ferrari SUV!
So let’s check out how the two compare. Starting with the Lambo, it’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can put down 666hp and 850Nm of torque. It’s equipped with four-wheel drive, weighs in at 2,150kg, and has a starting price of £209,000.
As for the Ferrari, well it’s packing a much larger engine - a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12! This can deliver 725hp and 716Nm, and it weighs in at 2,033kg. It’s a bit more expensive than the Urus, with a starting price of £313,000.
So the Ferrari has more power, but the Lambo has more torque! Will the extra weight of the Lambo drag it down? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

Lol the new aventador replacement (can’t even remember the name) was like 2 car lengths behind the 5 year old SF90 too. And the same thing happened as this race where the Lamborghini got out in front first.
@@conor7154 Clearly that was due to the fact the guy didn't launch the Purosangue well, put Mat or racing driver Sam in the Purosangue and watch how it drops the Urus.

You really should swap drivers in each drag race to see what really is depending on the driver and what's the car's fault
Mat has TONS of experience drag racing cars. Lambo lost fair and square. It's the cars fault.
And it is to be expected, Ferrari likely used the Urus as a benchmark to beat. Would make no sense if they came out with a slower car as the competitor to the Urus.

I tracked an Urus recently and I have to say I stunned by how well it stopped and cornered. It was certainly the most surprising Lambo I’ve driven.

I still love the Lambo but whenever I see a base spec one I can’t help but think you wouldn’t be surprised if it had a Kia badge on the front. The DBX and the Ferrari definitely look like less generic SUV’s

Not true, I love Ferrari’s lambos etc. but your rs6, m5 or even m3’s and rs4’s etc are a lot cheaper and just as much fun. Half the time with a stage 2 on either they are beating them. Yes you don’t have the luxury of the Ferrari or Lamborghini but speed doesn’t revolve around v12’s the sound on the other hand is something that can’t be beaten

Great race from you guys. but for the break test, i believe that they have similar breaking capabilities. the Ferrrari got to the line ahead of the Urus by about a foot or two. i had to pause my video to see them from the ariel view camera

When Ferrari announced the engine configuration for the Purosangue I was so happy because they keep telling us electric is the future (which I don’t think is true). The Urus is cool but it should have been V10 or V12 engined if this is the last of ICE engines. That Ferrari V12 sounds INCREDIBLE. Fantastic video yet again👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Not "walking". I think performance of SF90 & Revuelto will be generally equal & competitive. If you have 2 such powerful cars it doens't rly matter who's the fastest. There is always something faster, like the Rimac..
