Fun thing about the Dukes Mayo Bowl… when Wisconsin played in it this past year and won; they immediately dropped the trophy in the locker room- shattering it 😬
There is actually a larger stadium in Hawaii but it's kind of obscure, War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku. It holds about 25,000 and hosts high school games. Unique looking place, too.
The Cramton Bowl was the home of the Blue Grey Game. A college All Star game that was typically played on Christmas day featuring players from schools that didn't make a bowl game
I attended a few Blue-Gray games in The Bowl. Sometimes the weather was nice, sometimes I froze. One game I missed featured a receiver from Mississippi Valley State University who spent a few years playing on Sundays.
Raiders' new home given the nickname of "Death Star?" Are you kidding me? If it is going to take on a nickname based off of something it actually LOOKS like, my suggestion would be "The Roomba Vacuum." Another great video, though! Keep 'em coming!!
Some weird and cool stadiums in this episode. You're spot on with your take on SoFi-the future is here. I miss Hank Hill. Hell, I even forgot that the Superdome is still being used. ISOTOPES, baby! Wooohoo! The Armed Forces Bowl's venue is quite awesome. In fact, its also daunting if you're the visiting team. Fenway is historic and the tight quarters make the experience all the more intimate and memorable. Especially when the Yanks come to town. Overall, there are too many bowl games, I feel. You've done well presenting them all and, actually, made it interesting. Not Easy. Until your next one, m8. Cheers!
Hands down the #1 channel I await a new video from each week 🧡 Keep it up the fab work my man! If you ever get the chance, please feel free to do a list of the main stadiums for both the Summer and Winter Olympics. That would be wicked!
You should go to a New Years 6 or a CFP bowl game. The entire week building up to it is worth the trip, mate. BTW, your American football vernacular is outstanding!
It's been a tradition to go the Fiesta Bowl every year for my and my ma for the last 6 years, so excited to be back this year! P.S. That Hank Hill impression was amazing lol
I’ve always loved Lucas Oil Stadium, everything about it just works. Went there for a Big Ten championship game and it’s been near the top of my list since
That section of premium seats at Ford Field doesn't match because that area of the stadium is part of a old department store warehouse that the builders wanted to keep. It's a pretty cool area to walk through
football games in baseball stadiums are fun. years ago i went to one in san francisco (the emerald bowl) they put bleachers on the field behind the bench, and the teams split the same side of the sideline
I feel the same way about Mercedes-Benz stadium. Went to Atlanta for the first time in July and didn't know where it would be, then I looked out my window on the road coming off the highway and WOW. Won't forget that site, what a stadium. My (somewhat, ive been several times) local NFL stadium of the Panthers ain't bad but I think the Falcons have the best stadium (from outside appeareances) in the league.
NRG(Reliant) Stadium is a fantastic venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Bring a thick wallet as the food here is awesome yet pricey but worth every penny
He never said it was. He said it was ONE OF the first in the world, which is true. Yes, SkyDome is nine years older, but Chase Field (then Bank One Ballpark) was the first retractable roof stadium in the United States and was still among the first in the world, since so few opened between 1989 and 1998.
I know I mentioned this during the Big 12 Conference football stadiums video, but since that photo was taken of Amon G Carter Stadium (I'm guessing it was during the 2019 Armed Forces Bowl, because last year's version took place on a cold and rainy day in Fort Worth), the East Stands renovation was completed, resulting in a new club/suite section in the upper levels.
i never realized the DFW area had so many bowl games. Frisco, First Responders, Armed Forces, Cotton, & AT&T. i wonder if any other cities have as more?
Great channel, can you give us your opinion on the North African stadiums and make a video ، I am from Algeria and I want to see your opinion about our stadiums
The National Championship in Indianapolis? I know Lucas Oil Stadium has a retractable roof, but how many people will be going to the game if there’s a snowstorm?
In Sofi stadium, the upper bowl seats are higher from the field than the 747’s landing at LAX! SOFI leaves much to be desired once you get past it’s appearance
"quick lane" is the name of Ford dealerships oil change service facilities. The Death Star lost every time. It seems appropriate that it's the home if the raiders. 🤣
When it was just Ladd Stadium, my dad played in a football game between peewee parochial teams called the Toy Bowl. Heck, it might not have even called Ladd Stadium at that time.
Those classic Orange Bowls were at the old Orange Bowl Stadium, which was replaced by Marlins Park where the Miami Beach Bowl had a short run before moving to Frisco. The Fiesta Bowl started at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. The original Yankee Stadium had the short-lived Gotham Bowl, and the Astrodome had the Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl and later the Gallery Furniture Bowl. The Sugar Bowl could have become the Post Super Sugar Bowl.
I’ve seen College Bowl games at Ladd Peebles, The Crampton Bowl, The GA Dome(RIP), and the Exploria Starium of Orlando FC. Ladd Peebles was barebones and awful but the game atmosphere in the rain was crazy. Crampton Bowl is also terrible and I wasn’t a fan lol. The Orlando City FC Stadium was amazing though.
Ladd-People’s capacity 40000 is that people or minions ?? I struggle to see how you get that count based essentially on two slabs of bench seating with a bit of end zone Look a TCU at 47000 in comparison !!
The National Championship isn't a bowl game, in fact now the last four bowl games amount up to it. Also, this championship game is also played in the same stadium as the Big Ten Championship game which is way out of the norm because the SEC has been hosting the National Championship game in the past years in the Sugar Bowl and Peach Bowl, the Pac-12 in the Rose Bowl, the ACC in the Orange Bowl... and the Fiesta Bowl which might be a part of the Big 12 but that one is trash.
Fun thing about the Dukes Mayo Bowl… when Wisconsin played in it this past year and won; they immediately dropped the trophy in the locker room- shattering it 😬
Yea that clip went viral for a day 😂
Duke's Mayo? Delicious. For real.
Lol
And then they replaced it with a dukes Mayo bottle lol
And then they taped a jar of Dukes on it right?
I've always loved Lucas Oil Stadium. It's such a well designed stadium on the inside and out.
On my mail route in downtown Indianapolis. A security guard lets me eat my lunch in the north end zone.
Michigan's gonna play in it twice this year #GOBLUE

The Cotton Bowl Classic just isn't the same at Jerry World
There is actually a larger stadium in Hawaii but it's kind of obscure, War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku. It holds about 25,000 and hosts high school games. Unique looking place, too.
It hosted the Hula Bowl for a few years, before returning to the now-condemned Aloha Stadium.
@@gregsells8549 What’s going on with Aloha Stadium?
@@CyberRelic280 The structure has rusted away and a new stadium should be built on that site.
Few things I love more than baseball-to-football field conversions.
Same
You should be a fan of NYCFC then, they do it every week
And Vice versa

Just discovered this channel. It rocks! A video on the top College (or just SEC) baseball stadiums would be awesome.
For Ford Field: the section of premium seats is a old warehouse and was deigned to fit into the stadium, not nescesairly to March it.
I like the charm of football in a baseball stadium, there are none of those full time anymore. Went to a few Pinstripe Bowls and they fit just fine!

Fenway Park is one of the most traditional stadiums ever from atmosphere to the famed green monster
Should do NHL outdoor game stadiums. As early as 2004 going up to 2023’s stadium series at Carter-Finley Stadium
Hopefully we get an arena one for the upcoming season now that we have Seattle in the league now and the Islanders with their new arena
State Farm Stadium in Arizona was not meant to resemble a snake, the design was inspired by a barrel cactus, and it does a decent job of doing so.
This is the video I didn't know I needed, but now I can't do without
Any sports video that features not only a spoken reference to Tuvan throat singing but an actual clip deserves an award. Nicely done!

The Holliday Bowl in SanDiego and the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio are tremendous fan experiences.
The camping world bowl was a nice little place. I went when isu vs ND a couple of years ago
Where I now live I have 2 (Citrus & Outback) of them near me, while I attended 2 (Orange & Miami now Frisco Bowl) when I lived in Miami.
I’ve always loved Lucas Oil Stadium, everything about it just works. Went there for a Big Ten championship game and it’s been near the top of my list since

football games in baseball stadiums are fun. years ago i went to one in san francisco (the emerald bowl) they put bleachers on the field behind the bench, and the teams split the same side of the sideline
and sadly that bowl went away. it became the redbox bowl whose last game was 2019
Thank you for mentioning the Celebration Bowl!!!
Now the cotton bowl hosts hockey games! (Well, only that one time, but man it was cool)
You should do the 10 biggest stadiums in Division 3 College Football
Starting off what that beautiful shot of Jacksonville☺️

The Belk Bowl is also held in Bank of America Stadium
Too bad it doesn't exist anymore. I liked it better than the Mayo Bowl.

Amon G Carter Stadium is TCU's home stadium and opened 91 years ago
NRG(Reliant) Stadium is a fantastic venue.

Chase Field wasn't the first retractable roof in the MLB! It was the Sky Dome the home of the Blue Jays
