It's as if Mack was thanking his new person for reuniting him with his beloved sister Trout. He is SO grateful! ❤
My sentiments exactly.
Seems he was angry at the human separating them and by rejecting her, she might release him back outside to be with his sister.
Yep and what are the odds that Mack and Ms. Trout get adopted together?
@@Crimea_River I hope Miss Dixie insists on it.
@@aisha2370 : Agree 👍
Oh, Mack! So heart-broken until he got his sister back that he loved! I hope they are adopted together.
Hello Shala, how are you?
i heard they were all adopted by one family!
@@kkotheracountnstuff8209oh that would be sweet!! When we used to adopt out the kittens born to feral Moms - we get a lot of unwanted kitties out here in the country! - I used to adopt them out together if they were a bonded pair. It made the transition easier for them. I can't imagine splitting up siblings so young! I'm so glad they were able to catch Trout!!
@@kkotheracountnstuff8209 That is the best possible outcome. At least they know which ones need to be together and which ones MIGHT be able to meet a loving world on their own.
Agree
I have tamed numerous feral kittens in my life, and learned there is nothing more special than that moment they let down their guard. What a feeling!
Did it once, so I can agree I forgot about the cat a while ago but remembered it again.
Yep. Best feeling ever
Same with some closed off people tbh!
Ferals are not bad, they just need time to get humanised ❤
Kittens that age will eventually warm up to us. But having his sister around definitely sped up the process for Mack. Cute "fishes" 😊!
@@philollenberg2494 I think she called them that once and the editor replaced her every mention of "kittens" with that audio clip 😆 It's a cute term though, their names are perfect.
The way she talks to the kittens...you know she really cares about them.
And she followed to prove it by united lost loved ones who were very lonely without each other.
Maybe the kittens just thought the old woman was a little too crazy the way she talks.
@@mixdatshit9096😂
Nah they prolly like aight we listening to that bs at least we getting free food
Mack was the way he was, because he needed his sister. Thank you for getting his sister back to him and
I think he realized that this was the person who brought his sister to him and was grateful. What a bunch of
fluff balls they are. I hope they all get their forever homes.
omg he was worried about his sister and so grateful that you found her. what adorable babies.
Seems like he dropped his guard soon as she brought her in.
The kittens are the cutest! Thankfully, she showed them love and changed the way they view humans!
Love and food can conquer the most feral kitten's fears. ❤ 🐾🐾
Same can be said for some people I know 😅
Those kittens are so cute! And the way that Mack warmed up to his rescuer after getting reunited with Trout is just so heartwarming! 🥰
My cat passed a couple months ago and it was rough for me. So much to give but still need to heal up from the loss. Amazing that animals can have such an impact on our lives and well being.
EDIT 12/21 - Thanks so much for the kind, encouraging words. I am an older guy that is normally pretty emotional tough, but damn. When I took her to the vet to have her put down, I could barely walk or stand, left her in the carrier in my car so I wouldn't scare others by losing it emotionally. Went to the counter and could barely talk. Couldn't write to sign the Visa bill. No way could I stay for a goodbye. They knew I was barely capable of being there and were very kind. Gave her up in the parking lot to the vet in tears. She had kept me up all night howling and crying and I was syringe feeding/watering her four times a day. When I took her there she was acting 100% healthy which made it even more tramatizing. I am tearing up writing this - thanks guys.
I'm sure your sweet cat knew how much they were loved! I hope you'll find another special kitty to share your life with. ❤
My Ivy passed two years ago and I am still grieving her loss. I totally understand. I took in temporarily Azlan my nieces cat which ended up becoming permanent 😆. But I still miss my Ivy so much.
I love Azlan but it's not the same. You will find in your heart room for another kitty. But know it will never replace it. Just give yourself time. 🌬💜✌
Sorry you lost your little buddy. I just lost mine last month. I gotta be selective in the cat videos i watch. These little buggers help.
I'm sorry for your loss, I still miss my furbabies.
Definitely smarter than Pelosi, that is for certain. Well put.
my cat passed away in 2019 and I still miss him. he was 20 years old.
I really hope that Mack and his sister Trout get adopted together. they
need each other in their lives.
Mine passed in 2020 and I'm still grieving as well. People say, "just get another cat", and I have, but each cat is so individual it's not like I'll ever get them back.
damn, twenty years, kudos
@@Jibaku exactly you can’t just replace, that’s like saying get another child. It’s not the same
Mack was the protector and he wasn't going to allow you to touch him when HE knew one of them was still out there.😇
Yeah....😅
He felt lost w/o his sister. So incredibly sweet.
What beautiful babies! My cats went from being sort of snuggly to super independent. Now when I try to pick them up they squiggle like "Ok Mom, enough with the hugs. 😂"
You too, huh? Mine did the exact same thing. Sadly, out of the six I once had only two are still alive. Grateful for them everyday, regardless of all the ups and downs. Love!!!
@@TheeBlackWitch Aww...I'm sorry your babies died! 😭 I've become super attached to my cats, it would break my heart if they does.
Ohh....same story here, my own cat, from clingy when she was a kitten, now if I touch, hug, put in my lap then I am lucky to do it for 2 minutes, then shove me out from her
My 2 just give up and go limp… “go ahead and pick me up already” and 10 seconds later, “okay, that’s enough”.
I went down to my local SPCA a week ago and got myself a rescue cat. Her name is Kit, she's 2 years old, and is a white and gray tabby who comes from a very abusive environment, she has trouble trusting folks. I've always been a dog guy but my health isn't that good right now so I couldn't care for a dog properly. Well I've fallen madly in love with my Kit Kat. She's still afraid of me because I'm a dude with a deep voice. But she's starting to come around now she doesn't run from a room if I enter, plus she allows me to pet her now. I'm excited to spoil her like crazy, I just love her to bits.
Huh, funny name coincidence
Awesome! So Happy for you two! 💕
@@kitkatdoomgacha9220 Wow, I love it.
@@bonnielucas1941 Thanks so much Bonnie :)
@@ronster141 You're welcome! I'm a cat person from way back.
Strays tend to show up at my house every now & again. 😹
About 18 years ago I rescued 5 feral siblings. Their mom had disappeared. Unfortunately, one of them never really became tame, but the others were super love bugs.
The person who rescued these babies has the perfect personality for it...a sweet tone of voice and she didn't express frustration with the little ones. She understood they needed time and viewed the kittens' hesitancy with good humor. Such a wonderful story. 🥰
I have a pair of feral siblings-- bro & sis-- that I trapped for TNR at ~4 months old. They were both so beautiful and docile, we decided to keep them. I worked on socializing them for months. The male is a sweet, trusting lovebug that melts in my arms and shows me his belly for scritches on sight. The little girl is completely skittish and fearful, rarely allowing touch and running for cover on sight.
Siblings, growing up in the exact same environment with the same experiences, with completely different behavior(s). Sometimes I think personality is just something we're born with 🤷🏻♀️
What you did was wonderful. You gave them a chance at such a good life. I think it's great when people rescue animals- and I especially like cats.
You never know about that one... I've heard of cats like that coming around when they are older, it can happen.
I have a feral mama cat who’s pregnant on my back porch ❤ she trusts us she comes inside sometimes and she has 2 kittens outside already I saw her before she came to are house she had 3 other litters so I’m guessing this will be her 4th litter and we’re gonna get her fixed
"I learned so much from them" ... THIS. It's not only that countless animals r/can b saved and loved. It's also what humans can LEARN from them. 🕊️
People do seem to think animals don’t have similar emotions as we do! Well I do. Just imagine if you are quintuplets and one of your siblings were left out in the cold, you’d probably be afraid for their well-being or wondering if they were still living 😢 I’m happy they found his lost sibling 😊
I found and rescued a feral kitten and mom… I went the other way around and picked the baby up 5 times every day, to pet her or a few minutes then I’d let go… by day 3 she was purring in my arms ❤ I still can’t pick up mom 5 years on.. but she comes over for cuddles and scratches everyday
I think some cats just don't like being picked up in general. I had a 19 year old cat and although she let me pick her up, it was her least favorite activity and would wriggle out if it was more than thirty seconds.
Y cat was never feral. He really dislikes being picked up.
People who say cats aren't loving and are a loof either doesn't deserve the honor of a cats love or hasn't really had one. Nothing more pure and unconditional
One of the best stories I have watched on Dodo. That Mack was reunited with his sister, and the picture of them cuddled. Wow! It is so obvious that animals have feelings.
The ladies voice is absolutely soothing. I’m so happy Macaroni got to bond with her ❤
Mack must of thought you ate his sister, when she appeared you were ok lol 😂
Nothing is more rewarding than helping helpless animals in distress. They are our link to nature, and also citizens of this planet. Every little bit helps!
Make sure Mack and Trout get adopted by the same person.
Ethan ,excellent comment ! I hope they go to the same home too, very important !!
Are you vegan ?
I'm so glad you found that last kitten. The thought of her being left alone out there is unbearable.
Unfortunately I now live on my own and as a owner of two cats, eg brother and sister they genuinely keep me going. You’re totally correct you have to let them come to you in their time. And as I’m sure is often said you don’t own a cat they own you, and you should think yourself very privileged for that! 😂
lovely video, Mack is gorgeous ❤️
Mack saw this woman as his hero the day he reunited him with his sister Trout.
And I think he’s so happy and thankful to her.
So Mack and trout were the “bonded pair” of the siblings… that’s so sweet 😢😊
Mack is thinking "What Have You Done With My Sister?! There She is...I feel better." 😺😺😺😺😺😺😺
I have been there... But I got them all adopted.
You know Mack was so grateful that you brought his sister home.
Bless your heart for taking them in from the cold. But, what's heartbreaking is if they're separated. :(((
2:10 is beyond cute.
so Mack was just upset because he knew his sister was missing and once she was reunited with him he was fine.
I was working on getting this pregnant calico cat to trust me. I fed her and was getting her to trust me, and then she had the kittens, and I couldn't find them. She got ran over, and 1 kitten was found by her. A ginger kitten (ginger). We got her, and I went looking for others. Found 3 more. 1 was a black tuxedo, and the other 2 were black (like the father). We got the black tuxedo (oreo), but the other 2 would not come. Had to gain their trust. I did get one to trust me fast (pretty boy), but the other was really hard to gain her trust (midnight), but I did it, and they are all about 1 year old now.
I've got two sister ferel 5 months old now. Turned the corner, they are full of love. They need a home.
What sweet babies Mac was missing his sister I sure hope they get adopted together because theve got a serious bond .
You saved the lives of these precious babies. Ferals live maybe two to three years before being killed by cars, disease or other animals. Hope Mack and his sister are adopted together.
The most rewarding thing that I feel is when a feral cat/kitten warms up to me & trusts. You are so beautiful!!!
Aww... Mack was bonded to his sister. I hope they get adopted together. Sweet, sweet babies ❤
After Trout was brought in, Mack is like "You're not bad after all human lady."
CATS ARE FULL OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOREVER THANK YOU FOR LOVING THESE BEAUTIFUL SWEET LITTLE KITTENS
*_"the transformation is so rewarding"_*
I've often tried to sum it up when telling people how they should contribute in some way and foster if possible. I would describe that feeling when an abandoned or abused dog or cat will finally come up to you.. even if you're just sitting on the floor next to them on your tablet for hours.. they'll finally trust, and come up to you.
The line this lady said sums it all up - the TRANSFORMATION is so rewarding!
Our vet had two bonded kittens; no one wanted them both until my wife came in. She fell in love with the ginger female and the shy gray-and-white sister. We have them both and they are terrific but MAC (ginger girl) is very protective of Xena who is still shy a year and a half later. We love them both.
I hope Mac and Miss Trout are adopted together. They obviously need each other. They are all adorable and you are an adorable kitty mom.
When he got his sister back ❤️😻❤️
Those kids been through so much. Now the hissin' is gone and they're furry little angels!! Ya bunch of softies!!😂😂
You let them decide to socialize. My house cat was feral 10 years ago. Smartest cat I've ever had, fantastic mouser.
Mack completely changed himself when he was with miss Trout… Thank you for bringing trout with him!
Doesn't matter how bad my day is but when I see kittens, I instantly start smiling. Thank you "thedodo".
I hope they find a wonderful forever home!
They are so adorable
Miss Dixie and the Furry Fishes. Sounds like a cool band name I'd listen to. Anyhow, bless her for being an angel to these lovely little bites. 😘
Pink noses....are the....BEST!!!!!!! I want to squeeze them...and hug them and call them George... Ok, maybe not George...but I still want to love them...
That is how you do it. Let them come to you first and don't push yourself on them. nicely done.
Omg I love kittens SO much♥️💜
So adorablee little kittens! I wish I had a pet..
"People may surprise you with unexpected kindness. Dogs have a depth of loyalty that often we seem unworthy of. But the love of a cat is a blessing, a privilege in this world." - Kinky Friedman
My aunt had a black tom named Taylor who was afraid of everything. When we moved in with her it took me almost three years to earn his trust but once I did he became the sweetest cuddlebug, often flooping into my lap and demanding attention. It was the best feeling ever and now that he's passed (17 years ago) I still miss him everyday.
I hope a home for Mac and Trout get to adopted together. They are so bonded!
Well, he was happy that he had his sister back. They were bonded, and he obviously knew the hooman brought her. That won her points. :)
"They showed me as long as you're taking steps forward even if you're taking steps back, you're gonna get there". Wow what a lifelong lesson 😍😍😍
"i love you! i love you!! I LOVE YOU!!"
( unimpressed cat glares )
This one is so sweet, I’ve watched it a couple of times. Poor Mack just couldn’t tolerate the loss of his sister! I’m so happy she was found and reunited with him!
I dont really like The Dodo, but they DO feature some really nice people, like this woman. God bless her for her patience and love shown towards these cats.
Sweeties , so happy for mack to have his sister. Thanks so very much for literally saving these kittens from the perils of the outside world and giving the a safe loving home.❤ 3:34
I will NEVER get tired of watching this video.
Mack was so feral and when they brought Trout something else just took over his mind.🐾🐈🐈⬛
My mom rescued a cat colony. They weren’t all the same litter despite being kittens. One of the three she kept is feral. You’d never guess there was a 3rd cat as any sound from the door the cat would hide. The cat hides regardless if there’s a new person inside too. Which is kinda cool though.
Tell your mom she's my hero! 😻
Back in 2009 I found two kittens in an empty Budweiser box . Someone left them . They still had they’re eyes closed . My buddy took one , and so did I . Still have him now . He’s insanely spoiled . But he’s my buddy
Watching my partner’s parents take in feral kittens and being a part of their healing journey was incredible. We spent all their time away with them and after a couple days they really do snuggle up to me now. They used to hide under furniture for months. And now they know their safe and cared for. It’s beautiful!
What beautiful and sweet little angels sent by God to us for happiness and joy.
Finally! A video where they are filming in landscape mode. Thank you
A few years ago, we adored a very skinny mommy cat and her four kittens. All semi feral. After giving them love, attention, vet visits and lots of love. After a month, we would feed them with a spoon bf their meals and they would lay on our feet.
I hope Mack can be adopted with his sister! I have so much respect for people who foster animals. ❤
He was just missing his sister! And he was so grateful you saved her!❤
We have one cat left out of the first three kittens that a momma brought to us. He's never let me hold him in my arms or on my lap. All I can do is pet him when he's near me. We're going on fourteen years like that. I love him and he at the very least "likes" me, but he's missed out on a lot of cuddles. This lady did a great job!
I'm staying sane this winter because of The Dodo & my spiritual practice. Who doesn't brighten up after this!
Great video. I think ANY cat can be socialized IF you have the patience required to give them time to decide when they want to trust you.
Oh those precious babies are so adorable. I'm so happy they were loved and taken care of. Little Mack and his sister were so adorable together.
They don’t even seem that spicy 🌶 🐾
Poor mack was really heart broken without his sister. What a change it made in him getting reunited ❤️
🙏❤️🐈⬛thank you...🐈❤️🙏
God bless you and those sweet babies! Thank you so much for rescuing them. All of my cats and babies, I rescued off the streets. I saw it all. Some were with me for many years others just a short time I cried my eyes out over every one I lost. Again a huge thank you!!!
You did a great job taming the feral kitties. It does have to be on their terms & at their pace. I learned you can sometimes speed up the process if you feed them with a spoon. The hand does not seem so much of a threat when canned food is part of the process. You may have to put a hole in a box and stick the spoon through. In one case of a feral litter, the mama would bring them late at night onto the deck and I would open the sliding glass door just enough to stick a spoonful of food out and while I lay prone on the floor, would feed them a spoonful at a time while they stood on the deck. The mama was super vigilant & taught her babies to be the same but they just couldn't resist the seafood can food. After about 5-6 weeks I was able to lure them in & close the door. They've been with us ever since.
I hope mack gets adopted out with his sister because he is clearly very bonded to her
I hope Mack and his sister go together, they act like a bonded pair.
Thankyou and God bless you for taking in those little angels.
Wow what an entrance for this
Wonderful family.. Keep up the KINDNESS AND LOVE GIRL WORKS EVERYTIME.
AND PATIENTS WITH MAXIMUM
RESULTS.
JUST SENT 4 OF MY BABIES
(3 FELINES AND ONE KAYNINE
I'm crying Mack just wanted his sister😢 I hope they don't get separated again they are so bonded.
The place before where we're at now, there were about 15 or so feral cats. Then they had babies. Started to trust us and know us as momma and daddy. Would follow my car down the drive when I came home. My Charlie was part of one of the litters. There were about 30 or so when we moved. Miss all those babies.
Her loving-patience paid off after all… thank you for being so kind and caring 🙏🙏🧡🐾
Wrap the precious lil beans in a kitty burrito and feed them while you hold them. No need to draw out the fear for two weeks or more. This just leaves them unsure for longer. Kitty burritos are a great quicker way to break down the barrier and let them know they are safe.
I love the animal life stories
Hopefully they adopt them out as a pair. They are clearly bonded
My poor heart. He was grieving.
The fishies. I like that. You have made a litter of feral kitties a litter of cuddlebugs.
that brother and sister are bonded and should be placed together.
Mack and Trout need to be adopted out together they clearly have a very special bond and they need each other to be happy
Too precious. Just need patience.
A beautiful love story. Thank God for this man ❤
