I can never understand how a person can insult someone and then expect them to do what they say.
My father is a priest and you're going to hell!!!!!
It's usually a dumb tactic to either lower the persons self esteem or intimidate them. They genuinely think that it will get them what they want. Some also just have angry issues with 0 self awareness.
I've had this working in fast food... Customer insults employee for working at a "low ranking job" and talks trash... But still expects superb customer service and to come on a daily basis lol
The person being insulted is clearly a robot without an emotions chip and so insults don't matter to them. The insult is supposed to throw an exception in their programming that gives the world to the person insulting. Or is it the other way around and the person insulting is having a buggy day?

I had an co-worker like that. She had gone through my section at work, and I only had a tiny section, which meant she was getting drinks for my section. I discovered this because a cup of sugar was dropped in the middle of my section when it would be far simpler to use the walk-way than that path (chairs were back to back at slot machines). So, I asked her to please not do that anymore and....she yelled. Only, she was yelling at me to calm down and how it wasn't a big deal. When I explained that I was just asking she stay out of my section but couldn't say much else cuz she kept yelling as if i was. I did lose my temper after a few minutes because she was acting like I was the unreasonable one, so I left the area to cool down. I came back to her talking to our manager and the manger was telling her "stay out of other peoples section next time".

As a soon-to-be teacher, I hate this attitude that parents have for teaching their OWN children at home. Their hardest job is logging their children on to the computer. Teachers are the ones who are still creating lessons, preparing websites, going into the school to teach so their students see a familiar environment, and even sending materials to the students homes, never mind having to think about their own children. So no, parents donât deserve anything extra for doing a parentâs job.
And the holier-than-thou homeschoolers think that they should be paid for their choice to school their own kid out of their own pocket.

Sadly, those entering these fields get duped way too often. I encourage new artists to set commissions priced really low, and increase it over time. Even if they start at $1 for a basic pencil sketch outline, in a year or less, they can raise it to 5, then 10, etc. But NEVER do things for "exposure". In the digital world, exposure lasts less than ONE SECOND, and MAY be seen by 100 followers out of a person's 10k followers. That's how fast people scroll past. Of those 100 who actually see it, maybe 25 will pay attention and, IF you are lucky, you'll get *maybe* 1 commission, and have to fight to get paid for it.

I don't even get any allowanceđ
I never did, either. Its ok. You'll be able to earn your own money in the future. I do suggest learning budgeting strategies now, based on minimum wage. Find average apartment prices, etc. It's good practice for the future, and you'd be surprised that you can actually save $ and still enjoy life with a crappy paycheck. It's all about planning, determining priorities, and taking care of those first - then setting aside $ for savings BEFORE using anything leftover for "extras". You can do it. WITHOUT an allowance ;)
