  • Life is looking a little different right now and we could not be happier about it! Besides the fact that I am ready to be allowed to lift more than 15 lbs..
Levi is out making some money with his Dad for a few days so we are just focusing on what we can get done slow and steady in the cabin! Laundry day is actually oddly fun to me. Satisfying is probably the word for it. If you have ever spent money at a laundromat, it is worth every little piece of clothing to use some water here and get it washed on your own.
Our small washing machine can be found on Amazon!

*Lately, it has been showing up as unavailable but if I find something that is similar and available, I will update this description with it.
I hope this video gives a decent view of how these laundry days are looking for us! I tried to explain how the washer works with my newfound Mom brain so feel free to hit the comments with questions if I missed something on it.
Henry is doing amazing for anyone curious about the little man. He is growing like a weed and is getting to a little more of a routine making our lives a touch easier. Having this little baby has been the best blessing!
We don't currently have any type of registry for him for those who ask, right now we are just out of space in this little cabin but appreciate the thoughts! I also have been getting triple the emails lately so please have patience with us as we try to reply to everyone! We received so many amazing Christmas cards and gifts for Henry that we also appreciate so much. ❤️

I had the same washer for our RV. It was so much better than going to the laundry. Of course I had water source so I always washed, spin, rinse then spin. I was amazed how dirty the wash water was and hubby was just outside but retired. The spinner would nearly dry most items. I suggest washing baby stuff alone in less than 6 gal so you’d have enough to rinse his things too until he gets older but I’m old!! You’re both doing an amazing job and Henry will do great❤️

Here I am over here complaining that I have to walk downstairs to do laundry . I need to learn to be more grateful this year. Bless your heart that is a lot to do for a load of laundry. That washing machine, spinner is awesome. Henry is adorable !!! I love your channel . Thank you for sharing with us. Blessings to you and your family .

Boy if this doesn't make a person appreciate a normal washer and dryer, I don't know what will.

I've been washing clothes by hand now for 9 years. I rinse at least 2or3 times and feel that's important to avoid skin rashes which for which I have a tendancy. So you might keep it in mind? I enjoy your videos! 💖💖💖

We're so impressed with how you take care of all the daily tasks born by a mother living off grid.! Little Henry is one lucky Alaskan baby! Take care and best wishes into the future. Bob and Barb

In England this is called a twin tub, my grandmother bought one in 1967 and it is still going strong. I prefer to spot clean stains and wash in the twin tub rather than a huge washing machine for 1 cycle. Sometimes the old ways really are the best. Rest up little lady, itl soon be spring and you can peg out line after line ❤

We have snow today 3 inches so far and it is still snowing. I am looking forward to spring so we can start hanging our clothes outside again! I love hanging them outside I find it really relaxing from some reasons. I actually look forward to it! It sure looks like a winter wonderland outside right now!

  • @cathycreger8008

Good morning pretty Becca ❤ and beautiful Henry! What a blessing to have that laundry machine. When we first got to our house in September we had power but no water. The next day the city turned it on at the road but we had no hot water. We then found out the hot water tank was bad. We already needed a new roof and furnace and were having a hard time finding someone to take care of it. We finally found a roofer and after asking basically every stranger we met we found someone to do the furnace and hot water tank. We also needed a new dryer outlet but luckily hubby is an electrician! We had to use the laundry mat for a while and it was really expensive and inconvenient having to put everything into the car then into the laundrymat then back out and back into the house lol. The worse part was bathing lol. We would put every pot we had on the stove and also heat in the electric kettle lol just to have a few inches in the tub. But we made it work!
