One note this does quick disconnect for portability. It has one 1/4-20 knob that goes into a nutsert on the fram of the table. Well i was short the knob so in the video it has a bolt. All the hose have no tool clamps. And thanks all for the nice comments!!!
Thanks for the info!
Sure and the router lower dust collection is held on with power locks.
Great job Paul and Ron!!!
I really enjoy seeing Paul's work
Wow!! Looks great. Can’t wait to see more
More to come!
Happy New Year Ron !
Happy new year!
Great idea. Nothing like taking care of the lungs.
Exactly!
Wow, what a great idea for a collection system .Geat 👏
I agree.
Happy New Year! Great ideas, Mr. Libby, really inspiring.
Happy new year!
Thanks!!
Great job gentlemen, this is something else on another level.keep up the innovation
We will!
That is a great idea. Build on..
I like it!
Seems like would not have enough CFM’s, going from a Festool dust extractor hose, up to a 4 or 3 inch flex hose, I would have to see how that actually performs, overall though, I really like the concept, just some action shots would be nice.
This is some really good stuff from Paul, I’m thinking Ron might need to do some on-site videos!
Paul, can you respond to the CFM question. Thanks, Ron
I haven't seen much reduction. There is only 1 or 2 of the ports open at a time. And if there are two open. They are going to the same tool. Like upper and lower for table saw or router. It would be nice to test it with an Anemometer, but I don't have one. Maybe I will try to take a video of it in action at some point.
Oh and they are standard 2" hoses. Of course the dewalt chop saw dust collection sucks😂. I would like to get a festool at some point.
@@paullibby5851 ok, my mistake on hose size, the video is deceptive on sizes!
Thank you for answering, and for sharing everything!

Hey Ron and Paul that's awesome I just built a 30x60 Paulk bench with 1/2 frame and 3/4 top but it actually extends about 15 inches on both sides where would I send the videos
send to thesmartwoodshop@gmail.com
Sounds interesting, I want to see
Will do i actually built out my box truck heavily inspired by ron but i added a lot of little things i came up with rons actually the one that inspired me to start this channel at the beginning of the yr but seeing videos like this just give me so many ideas love the engineering behind stuff like this
