    The edge gives you a rolling break the ultimate gives you a wall with a crisp break. The slide will catch on the edge connector at first after about 1K rounds it will mate to the slide. Just a head up to anybody looking into these

    Thank you for making the video. The way you described the differences put things into perspective.

    That is the best way to measure trigger weight I've ever seen. I have those exact same vise cover and gauge. Next build... Thanks!

    Got the Edge 3.5 in my GL19 although I did a moderate amount of stoning and polishing on account that the oem trigger bar was horrible and had a grindy feel to it.
    I also have the Vickers Tactical flat trigger shoe installed in mine as well.
    Its trigger safety tab sits flush with the trigger shoe when pressed. I had to retrain my trigger press to straight on against the trigger shoe.
    I also replaced the oem striker channel liner with the Lone Wolf channel liner. That makes for a smoother pull.
    Every little bit helps

    Thanks for the video I had both of these in my cart tonight and I had settled on the standard but I decided to watch these videos first!

    Very good comparison video on the 3 connectors. S&W revolver trigger pull stacked through the pull to a hard wall. Then the let-off. You could make nearly as accurate shots as thumbing the hammer back shooting single action. NEVER got used to Colt revolver triggers, never owned a Pony revolver.

    my 1st Glock i put a Zev Fulcrum kit in. my 2nd, 3rd, 4th (and future Glocks i assume)- all have a factory bar, ghost kits, and replacement shoes. if that tells you anything about those expensive n arguably safe trigger kits. Great Vid

    Nice video. I have the Overwatch Tac trigger with the dot connector. What suppressor sights are you running? Thanks.

    As far as I know the Overwatch trigger bars all have a Robar NP3 coating, my DAT did.

  • @jakespeed9419
    @jakespeed9419 Před 5 lety

    The new ghost pro has an overtravel stop, I think you have to file a bit of it down to work correctly and to what you want it is like 10-20 bucks more than the edge i believe but same break as the edge also

    I have the Glock 20 Gen 4 and it seems like aftermarket parts are so hard to find since the 45 and 10 mm seem to have different parts in certain places are the trigger connectors the same on a 10 mm and 45 as any other caliber Glock? I would really like to get a minus connector but I'm not for sure if I can use one on a 10 mm

    My gen 4 trigger in my 21 is garbage. I’m seriously considering one of these. Already have an overwatch trigger in there. It helps but it could use more.

    Sometimes i add a little "dremel" polishing compound down on the contact points, it works as a dry lube and eventually smooths contact points. Been reliable for me

    Which overwatch trigger shoe did you use

  • @ashley587
    @ashley587 Před 5 lety

    So I've always wondered if the Overwatch shoe was worth it. The OEM shoe isn't the most comfortable trigger in the world but does this one make a difference?

    • @Highjak86
      @Highjak86  Před 5 lety

      eWizard Given the low pull weight with the only mod being the Overwatch shoe/bar I’d say yes. It’s smoothing things out.

    So I just got a Glock 20...I'm trying to decide if I want a light or not...of so I want it bright enough but not extend past my 5" treaded barrel. I will be using the gun for backpacking and hunting....any recommendations will be greatly appreciated! Weapon light or no...and if so why and which one

    • @Highjak86
      @Highjak86  Před 5 lety +1

      Why would you not want the light to extend past the barrel? I prefer the light to be longer which allows for a contact shot where the light makes contact first allowing the firearm to still fire vs the barrel being proud and potentially taking the firearm out of battery and not able to fire.

    • @adamaustin3373
      @adamaustin3373 Před 5 lety

      @@Highjak86 yea I understand that aspect. But this will be primarily used for backpacking and hunting, not EDC. just wasnt sure about the weight and bulkiness etc. I'd be using a chest strap holster. What light would u recommend? I will def have a RMR and Threaded barrel...

    • @Highjak86
      @Highjak86  Před 5 lety +1

      @@adamaustin3373 Right, but still relevant. How many dudes have had to shoot bear while it was on top of them? I don't know the answer to that, but it's likely happened. Just an extra cherry on top in my book thus I still would prefer a light longer than the barrel which is something I don't currently have given the added length of the comp. With a chest rig the added length and weight is negligible. I prefer the X300s from Surefire.
