Sorry jags our club everton were absolutely piss poor you should and still should be given a testimonial, great service thanks a million 💙💙
I’ve met many football players over 40 years of supporting Everton and England. Phil is so genuine and humble, ❤
Just not much of a family man
Brilliant captain at Everton
I idolised Phil when I was a young toffee. I hope he knows how much the fans valued him.
That’s rough, Everton should give him a testimonial at least
Top bloke and one of my favourite Everton players. Thank you Jag's 👏 So sorry the club didn't treat you better, you definitely deserved a proper send off 💙
Phil as a Toffee this hurts me..hope u know the fans always loved and respected your effort...
his late equalizer for everton v liverpool at anfield is something ill never forget as an lfc supporter. class act.
Love you Jags .. always an Everton legend to us fans .. we will never forget what you did for us buddy. Forget the board and calls you are a legend to the fans and that's what matters once a blue always a blue 💙
My favourite captain for my club, gutted the club didn't give him a better send off, but his pen vs United at Wembley was a big childhood memory for me
You and Baines were my favourite players when I was a kid Jags, you were an absolute hero and led from the back. UTFT
Sorry to hear that Jags. As an Everton fan, i genuinely hate our club most of the time, on and off the pitch... still hope we can pull off a miracle and win the derby tomorrow 😅
Got some good news for you lad 💙💙
Lol that last line, summing up his career “other than not getting in any finals and not winning anything, my goodbyes were rancid”
Thanks jags you were great at everton
Shows how awful we are at the time in the board room. Jags is a Everton legend, 300+ games, captain, I'm sure he knows how much the fans appreciate him.
Honestly it was disgusting how our board treated Jags! A loyal servant who wore his heart on his sleeve and the Goodison faithful adored (and still do!) him. Currently watching this in my Jagielka tshirt! Love you skipper
Anyone that’s an Evertonian loves Phil Jagielka. A brilliant captain who oversaw some of Everton best premier league seasons. Hate how it ended, hopefully one day he can come back to get the reception he deserves
Thank you for everything Jags from a season ticket holder at Everton. I’ll never forget your last minute unbelievable half volley equaliser against Liverpool. Legend Jags
Phil is an Everton legend
As an Everton fan this is so frustrating and quite frankly sums up what this club has become since moshiri! Loved jags, top class
Jags deserves a testimonial
Respect to Phil jagielka from Ireland 🇮🇪 👏
Good speaker is Phil
You’re still my captain, Jags.
I absolutely love Jag. Goal vs Liverpool is one of my favourite ever goals.
Jags deserved a testimonial at Everton he was brilliant for us. Unfortunately for him, as he alluded to the club off the pitch has become a mess, him, other players and the fans are all victims of lunatics running the club.
Solid defender best about
Phil was one of my favourite players in that very good Everton team under Moyes. Especially the team of 07/08. That side should of won something. FA/League Cup or Europa League. Nevertheless, a great captain and Everton legend.
Still don’t understand why he and Barnes didn’t get a testimonial games
Absolute class player for us. #UTFT
Big jags lighting bolt from the Everton Blue true professional 👌 True captain would of ran through a brick wall for Everton and not to say goodbye is badtaste sort it Everton man was a legend
I idolised jags as a kid, got his name on the back of 4 shirts
Was brilliant at Everton, v underrated by premier league fans.
Gutted when Jags left Derby, could've been different that year if we'd managed to keep him
@everton give this man a belated testimonial
Phil was Mr. Everton for me over soo many years. Hate Everton for not given him a testimonial.
No major final did jags not play fa cup final v Chelsea?
He suffered a cruciate & him Arteta & yakubu missed the final thru serious injury typical our luck
@@shaEvertonoh yeah kind of remember that now actually 👍🏻
He was injured. Same with Yakubu and Arteta. Think we would've won the cup that year if everybody was fit.
I just hope Phil doesn't hold it against the fans.... I put Phil in the category with Big Nev Big Dunc Big Kev..and many more Loved Phil
Everton has the best fanbase and the best staff but the ownership is pretty poor. Evertonians love Phil and wouldn't want this for him
I was absolutely gutted and fuming for Jags as an everton fan. What they did was beyond a joke
The likes of jags, Distin and Baines should have got a way better send off and a testimonial. Another joke of the shambles behind the scenes with BK
good proper defender Jagieka was, Everton was trash to treat him like that after all those years
If you want loyalty get A DOG,,, Football is brutal .. Get as much as you can, one tackle can end it
Not aimed at Jags but 2 wins from the last 11 sheffield relegated themselves west ham didnt relegate them
Shocking treatment but doesnt surprise me for Jags at Everton...Run like a circus
Fucking disgraceful the way was was treated at Everton, and im a mad blue.
Jagielka's chatting nonsense. No manager he worked under feared he would take their job, as he says himself, he doesn't have any badges, nor is he some football genius. No club owner in the professional pyramid was going to sack their manager and appoint Jagielka.
Badges mean nothing if a team loses 5 games in a row managers going and if there is a senior player that commands the respect of the dressing room he's a good fit if only temporarily
@@bruceberry5931 That happens in League Two and below, maybe even League One in truly desperate times. The clubs Jagielka played at had the money and the reach to attract managers, they never need to look at their players for someone to appoint.
You know nothing you clown badges mean nothing chairman appoint people sometimes on what they’ve done as players a manager would feel threatened by somebody who’s had a better football career than them. You’ve never kicked a ball in your life he’s speaking from experience saying managers feel threatened by players who’ve had a good career Rooney was the only one who didn’t
@@mop3836 Tom Cleverly?
@@SJP-go2do Cleverley was already retired AND was already apart of Watford's coaching setup. Doesn't at all resemble what Jagielka was suggesting.
12 years and no testimonial. Disgusting
