Half of these movies I haven’t seen and don’t plan on seeing. I just like watching you guys review stuff🤣🤣
I plan my day around watching yall's reviews.
They don’t hold back .
East coast insomnia gang rise up
Mississippi here😅
South Carolina in the heezee
@@tracyburris612 we in here!!
You know it..
West Coast insomnia here 😅 Waking up in the middle of the night and hoping to get back to sleep before I have to go to work 😫
Wow, mom peaced out KNOWING that one of her kids (or grandkid) would have to take her place, or her husband would have to go on the Coward's registry?? Cold world, smdh lol
well that's not true she came back but Bob wanted them to kill each other bc he gets off on that it's more interesting than your synopsis
@@raymondcantrell5868I’m not sure she “came back” but they said they found her and she wanted to do the procedure at home but the guy said no, take her to headquarters.
@neenee_b she may not have known they were still going to ask for another body. She may have just assumed she’d be in trouble, not everyone else.
It was also noted that the father convinced her to do it. It was never her idea. Also both mom and dad had no idea they would try to collect a second body anyway
They didn’t even mention the Dad at the end , just the girl friend and sister.
im confused about that can you explain why
@@thelastknight1276 I think it was cause he was doing it for his “legacy” and wanted people to see what he did “a héroe “ , so by not including him, he did it for nothing
Yeah, I was confused at first he wasn’t added. But found in funny irregardless
Peter Gallagher and his eyebrows used to be fine back in the day! I had the hugest crush on him 😘
While you were sleeping??!
same!
Same!!!
Still would, in a heartbeat. 😏
Really weird concept for a movie. I mean, sure, having corrupt body collectors, because they are just some poor subcontractors, that's realistic, but them thinking they can get away with that when it's a rich family sounds unlikely. Either the family would have to be less well off, or the collectors would have to be better equiped, maybe more like corrupt government agents that wanna erase the whole family for some reason...
I really wonder how many young people would volunteer in that world, just to cancel their dept and end their own suffering. That would be more interesting. Also, how/when would the government rethink this approach, when all the menial labor jobs start having hiring problems cuz people feel they are better off dead?
Thank you guys for doing this! Just like Joseph said I was hoping for like an "elevated" Purge where the actual social ethics, consequences and banality of government-sanctioned evil could be explored alongside the horror, especially by another Cronenberg kid because I love Brandon's work so far. But this one sounds underwhelming. Maybe they should've leaned a lot more into dark humor/horror blend like a "Fall of the House of Usher" with euthanasia instead of a death curse! Great review! 👍
do you scoop your own shit and sniff it 😂
Hi Gentlemen!! Thank you for introducing this film to me and reviewing it! Sounds interesting, a Cronenburg baby's directorial debut!! 😮🎉 Might have to check this out.
I finally ordered 3 Fish Jelly T-Shirts to "work" this summer!! I will be representing you guys and will occasionally be "Crunchy"!!
I love that for me. 🥰
21:20 Hi kitty! 🐈
🙌🏾
finally watched this and felt it started pretty strong but was disappointed with how underwhelming it turned out. I was kind of hoping the adopted brother would be the only sibling left. 🤷
I love you two😂. Great review.
I will check it out when it starts streaming. I love David Cronenberg movies. This movie looks like a Cronenberg movie. So, a dark comedy done in the Cronenberg style, with his daughter directing sounds interesting. Not interesting enough to try and see it in the theater, but interesting enough. Cheers to another fun review!
Thanks again ❤😊 great review sounds like one I won’t mind missing
Wonder if this movie is part political statement, because Canada really has a government euthanasia program.
Really?!? 😮🎉
@@jay-dubdubb2292It's called MAID, Medical Assistance In Dying.
@@jay-dubdubb2292we have a program called Maid or medical assistance in dying. Though i support it canada doesn't have the social supports to help people with disabilities and there have been cases of people using Maid because they can't afford to live with those lives.
Yes, they do. The Netherlands does also. I was following a case there involving a 30-something woman, who was appealing her euthanasia request which was denied three times (I believe). Finally, The Hague granted her the right to die. Her diagnosis: anorexia. I was sick over it for days. I am certain that is not why the euthanasia movement was created.
This trailer looked interesting. Definitely one for streaming for me.
The premise is cool but seems to die out, literally, towards the end. I'd still watch it. If it leaned into some kind of Heaven's Gate plot where they all go and then regarded as some kind of twisted 'heroes' would have been better.
Oh yea, omg me and my husband thought she had to be an Olsen too.
Mercy, y'all look tense in the thumbnail! 😬
So many movies lately have been promising - If they just took a few more passes at it they would have been great versus meh.
I really like dark comedies so I might still check this one out.
Love the kitty popping up halfway through 😺
That teal jacket looks great on you, Joseph.
Hope you're having fun at the film festival, Nick 🤗
I am probably going to see this still out of curiousity.
Please review sasquatch sunset!🙏❤
Hey guys I'd love to hear your thoughts on the British film Sexy Beast.
There's another Cronenberg in horror film??!
I'm just here to like. Don't nobody tell me nothing until after this streams on Shudder in July unless it gets a random theatrical release somewhere near me. 🤞
urgh, another end of the world movie. and what a nepo family 😅
Nepo baby makes lame movies
Please do a review on Baby Reindeer
Literally said halfway through the movie, I could care less who gets sacrificed, they’re all so unlikable. I was only rooting for the young daughter and the adopted brother was okay.
Very underdeveloped and nonsensical
It was sony’s emails!
How did the step mom come to the funeral, but she was nowhere to be found when they needed her? What did i miss?
I guess because they got the sister, they dropped the case. And it wasn’t a funeral, it was like a recital I believe
I hated it at the cinema but I caught it on tv and it was better I think it would of suited a Netflix 8 episode series so we could fully explore all of the character’s
The only time i liked jay bruchel in a movie by even a low margain was when he was in "This is the end". Lol
I didn’t think the daughter was being whiny or a brat. I found her to be observant, picking up on the guy doing this just for fun. I actually enjoyed their banter and wit back and forth. You wanting a literal child to understand how to manipulate a grown man, is a big ask. Also, I don’t think it’s in her character, her mom said she was getting bullied.
Heyy 👩🏽🦲✨✌🏽
This movie was frustrating and confusing. Nothing was solved! The hell! Lol
If it’s like Infinity pool , I’m passing. Possessor has been the only good film to come out of that family lately.
Emily Hampshire is so fun to watch in 12 monkeys!!
📽️🌅
Plot sounds ridiculous, thats too bad.
You give allowance for tolerance of "basic" bland people, if there was some intelligence to the characters - perhaps, the "horror" part was our participation in "rooting for" them anyway. Not a very likable plot!
Rare Cronenberg Family L
This was the stupidest movie I have seen in a while
my social commentary is why the asian woman is always married to a white man?
Why did you think this was meant to be comedic? To me it was a straightforward thriller, and the social commentary not satire, just plain social commentary.
TDump must be President when this movie takes place 🙄
