So, when is that 16 part deck shuffling tutorial from Ben coming out?
Well, looking at his shuffling i'd pass on that one. At least he gets some hand exercise with all that forcible shoving them together after riffling.
Lewis's shuffling was terrible as well. The mash does not mix up your cards.

I love how y'all explain what's going on when fighting. It helps me understand and learn. Cause I have trouble with thinking strategy through.
Watching the Yogscast play MTG is so nostalgic to me. I remember loving the videos where Lewis and Simon played it and that got me into the game years ago

He also double played his planeswalker his last turn, putting a -1/-1 and using it to kill simultaneously 43:00

I bet he thought he got the two from the enchantment along with the one from the swamp. East mistake for someone who hasn't played for a while.

Atreyu didn't get stuck in the Bog of Eternal Stench. The Bog of Eternal Stench is from Labyrinth, Atreyu is from Neverending Story. Artax got stuck in the Swamp of Sadness, Artax being Atreyu's horse.

That's not health. It's the planeswalker's loyalty. Also Gideon is not a minor planeswalker. He is quite major.

Lewis, that bird can untap more than just one creature at a time, since its ability does NOT require it to tap.;)
Nice video, but I'm a bit perplexed when it comes to attack initiative, how is that decided ? Is the attacking player always attacking and the defender always blocking until the game is over ?

I thought tap abilities can't be used on the turn a creature was summoned (due to Summoning Sickness)? So Ben's move of summoning that Dessicated Naga and using it's tap ability in the same turn at 40:20 would actually be illegal, right?

I really wanted Ben to come back with lianas, or whatever her neame was, 10-cost spell or something and, just, totally wreck Lewis. That would've been a REALLY satisfying end to the match.

When you pay mana for an ability, what happens to the paid mana? Only part of the game I am unsure about. Example would be paying 3 mana for a creature to deal direct damage to the player.

You have to say if you're attacking the player or the planeswalker before block. Also, Gideon was a creature still so he shouldn't have taken any damage. Rip lewis

You can watch this a 1.5x speed and it's still completely watchable.
At 37:19 ish, when Lewis killed the tattered mummies EACH player loses 2 life so Ben should've been on 3 life points so Lewis could use his pathfinder and sparring mummy to win right there

16:15 its six not 7 in 60 with 60 cards slits nicely from. 10,12,15,20,30.
I’m pretty sure he forgot to add life on one of his turns so when he said he had 39 life really I think he would have had 46
