its not gone, youtube is currently buggy, so the youtube notifications just fixes the bug where you cant see subbed tubers posts

You don't floop a creature to make it fight. You activate a creature.
Love the time they've put into this. Really one of the clearest and entertaining Magic vids on youtube.
The editing was super good on this, not too over the top, but detailed enough that we could actually follow what was going on in the game, i find that's a difficult thing to get right with magic games, so well done guys!

Every card game after magic is just a less complicated version of magic.
magic isn't even that complicated, hearthstone is just way simpler to make matches faster.
Mr Ballrace1 There are so many rules in magic that if you start playing cards that affect the "stack" things start going wonky but that mostly happens in commander games.
OddJaguar15 And is a worse version. Seriously, even if your opponent has less creatures than you, if you have realy low life total, he can just crush you and you can't do anything to prevent it from happening. And all the decks are tempo based since you are guaranteed to have one extra mana (or however it's called) each turn. And there are no instants. And creatures don't heal up at all. And because of worse gameplay paper version of Hearthstone didn't work and critically failed. All it ever was is cool and shiny game with cool sound effects and animations. And if we get Magic: The Gathering Arena Mobile, which is possible because it can be converted to all platforms, Hearthstone will lose it's popularity more and more.

Unless you're playing control and are in need of a addition card draws for land, there is little reason to ever draw over play.

Gotta say, if I was teaching a friend to play magic, I would probably show them this video. It's just two people enjoying a game, yeah, but you're focusing on the basics and having fun, and that's a good thing for a new player.

Good game! The 3 mana, vigilence, flying, lifelink card is OP for it's cost and rarity imo
It's a good card, but it's very slow in comparison to other 3 cost creatures. If you have time to attack with it few times and block a few times, it's really good.

Check out Spellslingers from Geek & Sundry if you're new to Magic. They're a bit more noob-friendly and explain how the mechanics work. Sean Plott is also a brilliant host. =)
sadly that one is 100% pre made and rigged.
no the decks may be pre made but it would result in a closer and fair game then if lewis had a tier 1 and sjin didnt it would be totally broken
no they are rigged to prove set result every time they play.
sometimes they draw cards that are made to synergy's with others in the deck, hitting the land drops when they got stuff to show for.
all of the matches are rigged because the result is not as important as the show.

Also Planeswalkers do not count as players however any spell or ability that deals non-combat damage to an enemy player, may be redirected towards their planeswalker instead. So if you have a creature that pings for 1 damage to opponent on tap, you can have that damage be redirected towards their planeswalker.

Conceding a match is called a ''Duncan'.
You don't have the planeswalker out to the side like that for a game, that I know of anyways. Could be wrong.
Either way, love that you guys are playing this. Would LOVE to see more. Maybe with you trying different gameplay styles? Like Vanguard, planeswalk, or more? Heck, maybe make it chaotic by combining some of them.
