Indestructible permanents can still be put into their owner's graveyard by other means, such as by the "legend rule", by being sacrificed, or (in the case of creatures) having zero toughness.
Sjin, your activated abilities, that do not tap can be used multiple times. Your god could have been hitting for four instead of two.
he also would have needed to have more than one card to discard each turn though.

Every time they called Hazoret and Bontu "him" I screamed "HER!" at my phone.
With Sjin's Pathmaker Initiate, can he use it's active ability (which is activated by tapping it) from the tapping of the card from attacking? Or can it's active only be used by forgoing an attack with it.
you get to scry 1 when you Mulligan
no you don't. Mulligan is just shuffle your hand back into your library and redraw with one fewer card.

BloodravenD It depends which set you are playing. Some involve a mulligan where you can scry, others are just like you said, and others let you mulligan for free first. It's different for each thing you're playing
No, you always get to scry 1 after deciding to keep a mulliganed hand. This has been the official rule in all formats for a while now.

Sjin's gods ability doesn't it do 2 damage to Each player? aka himself included. I haven't played magic before but isnt that what the card says it does?!?! Or if it says each player the controller gets to chose a target?
no its 2 damage to each opponent
nope, it says "each opponent" meaning the player(s) that you're playing against.
It only does damage to opponents :) I am guessing it is worded that way in case you are playing a 2 vs 2 or something?

What I like about electronic card games is, apart from being less batshit boring, the RNG. You can't summon a random card with a physical deck... at least not to the same effect.

Couldn't Lewis have used one of his Menace creatures earlier to force Sjin to either take more damage or lose one of his non-god creatures? I don't play magic, so I may have miscounted or forgot the happenings of a turn.
Sjin had enough health that he could've just taken the damage. Lewis pretty much did as much as he could.
I think lewis might have been able to win if he sacrificed a card instead of cycling for no point. He would have been able to survive the last turn if he sacrificed the mummy instead of cycling a card. He would have gained 1 life. And had two attackers with menace and had one person to block so sjin couldn't have attacked with the two 2 attack creatures. Leaving lewis on 1 and sjin on 9 with two attackers with menace

Sjin should have been activating his ability twice a turn instead of once, killing Lewis even earlier.
It needed to discard a card also when activating the effect not only pay the mana cost so mostly he couldn't as he discarded his only card to activate it once

Synchronized strike is useful for defending when you have tapped creatures, on the attack it would cancel the attack lol
Sorry, that is incorrect. "506.4b Tapping or untapping a creature that’s already been declared as an attacker or blocker doesn’t remove it from combat and doesn’t prevent its combat damage."

I always wanted to get into Magic the Gathering but, I could never afford to keep up. LOL
I spent way too much money on Yugi-Oh back in the day. >_< I miss playing physical card games.
Hextech Art & Gaming try playing yugioh now, all the top teir decks cost a couple of hundred dollars. Not to mention and this could just be my locals, some of the things people say behind your back if you beat them with a none meta deck made me never go back.

No they didn't. The second attack against lewis - lewis blocked with the beetle he summoned on his turn (which had summoning sickness)
Good games guys and dont mind all the wannabe proes in the comment´s. Hope you had fun, you should really read the story on magic homepage its exciting and makes alot of the cards fit with the story. Both Hazoret and Bontu are female deities so is Oketra the White god, the Green god Rhonas and blue god Kefnet are male

actually, correction, you cast synchronized strike before damage was going to resolve, so you would have untapped the Pathmaker Initiate, making it a 4/3 and then no combat damage, as they would have both exited the red zone, and Dune Beetle had nothing to block.
Almost as good as Car Transport Simulator 2013.
With Hazoret's discard ability shouldn't Sjin have taken 2 damage as well?

Someone who doesn't wear a collar, whenever they are outside, and so have a permanent sunburn on their neck.
i am so triggered at how the beetle thing went down because when a creature is untapped during combat it ends the combat because you would be attacking and then not attacking and since lewis had declared blockers he couldn't get back into combat so lewis should've have still had the beetle for a longer period of time.

Jaylan Riorden nope untapping does not cancel the attack, it can be useful for kind of temporarily “giving” a creature “vigilance”. For example an instant might let you untap a creature and draw a card, so you can “give” a creature vigilance for a turn and draw a card.

The requirement for Synchronised Strike was the card be tapped (to allow it to untap), otherwise it was an illegal move. Since your card only taps AFTER you attack, technically it was an illegal move by Sjin and he would have lost his 2/1. But who cares, it's magic play it how it feels right not stupid rules :)
Razmatschannel Firstly, they don't need to be tapped check the gatherer for its rulings and second of all it can be used after blockers being declared in response to the damage step where damage is exchanged so sjins move is legal and it isn't a fail. Maybe😒

can anyone tell me wtf is happening? This looks like one of those nerdy card games that I could get into...
although I really loved the content I just want to help Lewis out here. God's can only attack when their requirements are met. Sjin once attacked with a card in hand, and Lewis attacked while not sacrificing. he also cycled when he had a card reducing this to 0. Despite this, the content was fantastic, and although an advertisement, I love any form of magic from the yogscast.
The cards states that Sjin can attack with 1 card or less in his hand.
