This enabled me to become the terror of Catholics everywhere for the rest of the game.

The thing about the concept of this character is: There was actually a pirate bishop of the Isle of Mann. He was called Wimund (also spelt Wymund) and took up the Bishopric in 1100. And he took up piracy because, as the spiffing Yorkshire Tea drinker said, the Isle of Mann has an absolute garbage province. Wimund later got captured, ha his eye poked out and was locked away in a monastery in Carlisle.

The default succession type, confederate partition. Each child is entitled to a certain amount of titles and it will create new titles for the other kids. From the looks of it, Speed Child got the Kingdom of France while Wonder Child got the rather pitiful Kingdom of Mann and the Isles. And by pitiful, I mean that he doesn't inherit the pirate troops and only inherits the Isle of Man land-wise.
Wonder Child would have actually inherited better if Spiff conquered Strathclyde, the entire duchy north of the Isle of Man, the Suðreyjar, and the Norðreyjar and took their duchy titles before forming Mann and the Isles, as it takes the proper ownership of those duchies when formed.
As it turned out, Speed Child got the better kingdom to inherit and had an easy time winning claimant wars against his inheriting siblings.

As someone has already pointed out he has spoken about it before in a few vids. Saying it's either from finding/getting tips from various forums or figuring it out himself using past knowledge and trial/error. He mentioned that a good starting point is to look for multipliers and how they're applied as if those are easily messed with things can go wrong very quickly. Also similar types of games or games by the same company often have similar bugs so if you know an exploit that works for one game it'll often work for another.
I'm open to it but I don't know how interesting an entire video dedicated to him finding exploits would be. Searching forums, reading dms and trying/failing multiple times isn't exactly thrilling stuff and I imagine only a small percentage actually lead to anything. I'm sure he'd make it as interesting as possible but I think there's a reason the whole process isn't included in his usual videos.

This means that the time it took for those coins to travel from their mint in Asia Minor to England took months instead of years, which is quite crazy for the early medieval period!

Further if you wanna do the easy norse kingdom setup using the above method it makes it so much easier, ive been able to do it as soon as he turns 18. From there you can jump start your dynasty even further and by sending your heir to be tutored by any member of the highest developed/most discovered fascinations. At the same time you can build up your piety. rather than reform the astaru faith and then another generation rename it when making a new verion you can change to a new religion with similar ferver fairly easily, and then its actually a lot cheaper to make a splinter group of that religion than most of the astaru changes.
