Fish and Chips

Ingredients
Fish:
4 white fish fillets (boneless)
5 oz cold beer
1/2 cup self rinsing flour
1/2 cup rice flour
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp salt
Flour for dusting
Peas
1 can Marrow Fat Green Peas
1 pinch salt
2 tbsp Malt Vinegar
Tar Tar
1 cup mayo
1/2 lemon juice
1-2 pickles
2 tbsp fresh dill
1 tbsp dried onions
Pinch salt/pepper
Chips
2-3 potatoes
salt/pepper
Combine all sauce ingredients and put in fridge for 30 min.
Boil potatoes for 5-6 min, pat dry and fry until golden.
Add peas (with liquid) to the pan with salt and vinegar. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, lightly mash. After about 6-8 minutes the peas should become thick and mushy, but still have chunks of peas too.
Salt fish filets and pat dry after 10 min.
Combine batter ingredients, dust fish with flour then cover with batter. Fry until golden about 4 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
