I’m thinking about doing my first pc build since I’m getting tired of using a laptop connected to hdmi to a monitor 😂. I didn’t want to get too close to $500 so I completely get if I can’t get at least 5 years out of it.

I do also have a case for it but I just was wondering how long you think I could get out of it with just casual gaming 120fps or under with games like Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft, and I also record music too so I may use it for that as well which is why I wanted the 1 tb ssd. Also what do you think would be the first thing I would need to replace when the time does come? Thanks.

Thanks for the comment. That's a pretty decent build for $500. Roblox and Minecraft should run pretty well. Fortnite can be intensive. My guess is the video card would be the first thing to replace if the time comes. If you're just recording music, it shouldn't be too intensive. If you get into rendering created music or videos, that's a whole other issue. You'll need a better CPU and PSU. Plus more memory. If you can add more fans to help with cooling in the interim, that should help extend the life. Try to use some kind of monitoring software like NZXT CAM.

Is a PC with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, 64GB Memory, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB and 2TB SSD a good pre build to get?
