12:28 - Literally, when throwing grenade he is Shouting "Подарок!" - "Padarok" - "Present!", but not in the meaning "Take my present!". He is shouting not to the enemy, but to his teammates.
This a code-word to indicate that friendly grenade is being thrown, like "Fire in the hole!", and it is opposite to "Граната!" - "Grenade!" - when enemy grenade is spotted.
The reason is that enemy is expected not to understand meaning of the word, so he would not be alarmed by the shout.
The word itself is not standardized, so the group chooses it's own code-word for this. But "present" is kinda cool and sarcastic.
In our mil-sim airsoft activities we used "Apple!" in English or "Персик" - "Peach" when spoke Russian.

Yhea, i work with the translation team, and we do this type of thing to avoid confusion among the viewers, another example of this applies to some other "Combat-Vocabulary", BEARs say "Kрасный"/"Krasny"/"Red" when they are out of ammo.
Or for example, they say "Kонтроль"/"Kontrol"/"Control" to Secure a kill, like Skif at the beginning, he shot a Scav and try to hit him again to make sure he's dead. (He fails).

Many of these actors are claimed to be ex Russian special forces and military. If you watch all 3 of the episodes, you’ll notice that their cohesion as a unit is nearly unparalleled and little things like switching from strong side to weak side in their shouldering, close quarters combat tactics, and many other aspects of their acting in gunfights is essentially built into their muscle memory. They do many things naturally that you can’t simply teach actors.
Parts 2 and 3 really show that off
Actually, they are just actors)) Throughout all episodes, they were trained by real commandos. Each battle scene was thought out by people with a military education. This shows why it's so cool to watch the episodes)
Many of those actors are tactical-cyclical shooting, milsim, guerilla or at least airsoft enthusiasts so mostly if not at all it's their own gear and guns. Also guys consulting them are high class tactical shooting enthusiasts or ex-military/SF guys.

All fights were set by the current Spetsnaz operator (most actors are professional stuntmen with military experience) the director of this film is fond of the military strategy games and 5 years ago he released a similar film about Russian special services!
The only professional movie actor is the guy who plays the role of Skiff.

Yep, the game isn't designed around the philosophy of 'having fun' it's more about the determination and resolve to overcome adversity and that extreme sense of satisfaction from success...the lower the lows, the higher the highs are in comparison.

@Cyanide The Game is mostly about knowledge ,if u play 1 Wipe ... its alot easier Next time and u are 60% faster ... Now I play 1 Month and im in the End Game , enough Money for everything + full LVL2 BitcoinFarm ...and I just survive every 4th Raid (when i see my stats) and its fine :D
Ill second the loft of EFT - im (7000) hours in raid over the last 3 years. NOTHING touches tarkov once you get that adrenaline dump from a heavy firefights, or a great stalk.

The Raid series is one of the best modern war action series I've ever seen, inclusive of major budget productions. You're right that it's the little details that make this so special. Great to get some commentary from someone who has served as well!

@@sealigo3259 How is the matchmaking bad? and i dont think the game is going down hill, people are just saying that because they are making the game harder and not easier. People want to play until they get to lvl 10 and then run around with meta m4's or vals with top tier ammo. They dont want to have to work to unlock those top tier items. I think the game is headed in a good direction. Obviously they have a lot to work on and iron out a bunch of things, but overall headed in a good direction
@@1johste2013 if you play europe servers and you play a lot you'll get what i mean. lots of people disconnect randomly,desync is abnormal. indeed the game is getting harder because its crap. i've played 600 hours straight until it went downhill, so it's not that im crap at the game

Im pretty sure the rifle at around 3:00 is some kind of an AN-94, a sort of High Tech AK platform that was aiming to improve on the idea of Burst fires that the M16 brought up (namely firing multiple bullets before recoil starts kicking in). Its a "recoil shifted pulse rifle" with a rotating bolt that fires its first two bullets at rougly 1800 rpm i believe and then fall down to a more managable speed of 600-800, dont remember the exact numbers anymore. What kinda gave it away was the Muzzle Break, its pretty distinctive, also the barrel is up top.

Cool thing about Tarkov. In practically every game when you click the mouse (depending on method of hit detection) sometimes a projectile is generated at the muzzle of your gun graphic and sent from there or just hit scan methodology or what have you. In Tarkov, your gun exists. When you click the mouse your character physically pulls the trigger in the game world triggering a full simulation of the gun whereby a round is sent through the barrel and on its trajectory. Your character physically compensates for recoil on his own.
another cool thing. BSG owns all this. Everything in the game is 3d modeled from stuff they have owned or rented, this is all their gear. they are HUGE military nerds themselves and seem dedicated to realistic portrayals.
Watch the rest! There are SO many amazing details in these episodes it's impossible to get it all in a single viewing.
Arma and star citizen are two games that do this too. I also think dayz and deadside model this, it's something that most modern games are starting to do.
watching with subtitles is awesome. "ray case" = "ak" "they got that spot on" = "they got that spawn" also. the subtitles are capturing the Russian, "these actors yamaraja your cat erotica toriel." the entertainment value of this video was good from the get go, now its just on another level XD
