Really really depends on the Hollywood movies, the formulaic ones, are... well... formulaic. There are really good Hollywood movies and that's probably the ones he's referring to.
About veterans on the show and stuff: basically, the show employed a professional stunt team specializing in proper representation of modern military tactics in TV. A lot of those are ex-military. At least two members of the BEAR Team (2IC - a big bearded dude running point in this episode's assault - and the sniper - the one who cleared out the exfil route) are from that stunt team. 2IC, I believe, used to serve in Russian Air Assault forces. Also, some veterans from the Russian SOF community advised on the show (possibly active-duty, because BTS footage shows them wearing balaclavas and their voices were altered for the footage). The stunt team also portrayed USEC characters. Thanks for your reaction video, you're gonna enjoy Ep. 3 even more. Out of 4 eps released so far Ep. 3 is the best, IMO. Btw, not to spoil anything, but I also love Ep. 3 for the fact that the OPFOR side (which in this case is the West) is given more screen-time compared to the first 2 eps, there's more personality and character to them. Enjoy!
Just in case, "Dvesti"- 200, means "dead", "Trista"- 300, means injured. also full phrase is "Gruz Dvesti" - Which translate as "load (or Cargo) two hundred" dont clearly which will be more accurate to english, cause i am Russian, and did compulsory military service
Nikita, the director of Tarkov, has said that they may work with a TV company in Russia to produce a full TV series out of the show. It's only rumors tho and only from the Tarkov Dev Vlogs. It's up in the air but hopefully this gets a series. It's so well made and would be so popular.

I will say in regards to them avoiding walls, that's pretty accurate in relation to American military, not sure about Russian or British military, but American soldiers and law enforcement are generally taught to avoid walls during a firefight due to ricochets.

Some information The sound in the video of guns etc are all from the game sounds and the blanks that were fired, which in-term are all recorded from real life (game sounds). BSG has actually gotten all guns in their game licensed by the manufacturer. There aren't actually any real outposts or rearming stations in Tarkov, it'd be raided and stolen immediately, I recommend researching about some of the lore.
For Tarkov i recomend spending some time off camera playing the offline mode. You would need some more map knowledge and understanding on how these weapons behave
Ya offline mode is VERY helpful when starting, and learning the maps and where the extracts are and where loot spawns, you can also enable scavs and ai in offline to give you the feeling of being in a raid without worrying about losing your gear, or turn them off to go into a map and learn it and find the extracts using Google "tarkov specific map" extracts
as a former active duty marine (non combat) they still teach us alot about combat and how to move as a unit and such, this game is something i think every vet would enjoy i have played consistently for about a year now and its easily the best shooter i have every played. how hard it is with no compass/map, all the different attachments and actual parts you need to complete your guns, to loading the wrong ammo into a mag and then your gun will not fire is an amazing attention to detail that alot of games do not have...
You should see behind the scenes, how was this all made and the guys here were actually trained by spetsnaz...the movements, handling your weapons, close combat...
I've already watched all the Raid episodes as soon as they were out but I find watching these videos just as entertaining, if not a little more. The reacting to all the little details is so good. I also agree that this NEEDS to be a TV series.

I wanna explain one moment at 15:24 when one of the PMC screaming "Mouse is 200". In russian military there is such a thing like "cargo 200". Litterally it is when ppl transport dead soldiers to home from battlefield or smth.

the voice effects ingame and in the raid episodes are recorded from actual gunfire thats the secret to it sounding real. it is real. they have videos on their channel about recording it

staying closer to the wall is actually quite dangerous in long hallways because of the angles involved in shooting all the way from one end of the hallways to the other end. bullets would have a fair tendency to ricochet off walls. which means if you are right up on the wall a shot that would normally have missed you might ricochet off the wall and hit you instead. half an arm length distance from the wall is probably a good idea to counter that. if you get caught in a hallway with no side doors then the only options you have are to lay down covering fire and move Forward with speed and aggression. or bound back to the start of the hallway and get back into cover. so wehter you stand close up to the wall or have some space between you and the wall would not matter much in this particular scenario anyway.
Nikita, the COO of BSG, have said on stream that a Russian TV group had got in touch with them about developing a full TV show out of it, and Nikita mentioned that he will think about it
I don't know if you know how they make sound for this game and videos. They took real guns to a lot of places (indors, outdors, woods, beach, rooms with closed windows, with open windos and so on and so on) and recorded it on something about 5 or 6 mics.
~ @16:12 the mid combat switch to off hand shooting was the tell that these actors are legitly trained. You cant get a switch like that to look natural like it does unless youve spent helllla time doing it
