  • It quickly escalated from brotherly football match, singing, bantering and loving each other to a total carnage.
Some of the Nigerian fans got it all wrong, this is not how to react, agreed there is so much sorrows and pain in the land, but Ghana qualified the right way and in football, you have to respect your opponents and respect their fans too.

The loss was the final straw that broke the Carmel's back which led to the venting of emotions. And besides do you really think that was bad? where other than the goal net and team seats vandalised, people only invaded the pitch. But go see fan violence in Latin America and so called European city games

I saw one future and a confident talent. Frank Oyeka!!! he was able to run with the ball and he was the one who tried to block Thomas Partey's shot!!! but
unfortunately, the injury forced him out. Where was Etebo??? and Why did the coach play him as the main central defensive midfield??? He does not have the quality for such a position!!! Victor Osimehe tried his best but he should contact Victor Ikpaba to teach him how to beat the offside trap!!! Nigerians should hire a foreign coach and give him a four years contract and task him to take the Country to the next world cup. Please put Afcon aside!!! win or lose, he should remain there and build a new team and if qualifies the Country for the next world cup? His contract extends automatically!!!

I don't understand why Nigerians think they are the giants in African football over Ghana. Ghana and Nigeria have played 57 times, Ghana has won 24 times, Nigeria has won 12 times with 21 draws between them. Nigeria has been in the world cup finals 6 times and have never gone beyond the 1/16 level. Ghana has qualified 4 time and in 2010 was qualified to the Quarter Finals and was eliminated by Uruguay. Ghana has won AFCON 4 times, Nigeria 3 times. Therefore Nigeria is like any ordinary football country in Africa. YOU GUYS SHOULD STOP THE ARROGANCE

The ill-behavior of Nigerian fans was unacceptable and Nigeria should be banned by FIFA. Meanwhile, that anger by Nigeria youth was also due to their displeasure to Nigeria as a country. Nigerian fans went to watch that match with the hope of redeeming their pride in Nigeria, the pride that was lost due to poor political leadership and hopelessness. That pride was not only lost on Nigeria's match but damaged because of the loss to Ghana and Ghanian fans suddenly became innocent bystander.
