Congratulations to Ghana team, they played like they really want to be there...
With the Ariel of 'stars' in the Nigeria team, they couldn't leave to expectations... It goes far to tell you that stars don't win game but determination.. The guys didn't show determination and coordination, they can hardly make good passes.. They played like learners... I still feel we should have more of the local players than the foreign based in the team... We need guys with hunger to succeed and make themselves proud not big boys footballers.... If they have made it to the world cup, they would have had nothing to show for it

I honestly think the coach was the problem, take your mind back to when Rohr was the coach he was a disciplined coach that brought order amongst the players, though he isn’t a good tactician Eguavon is worse than Rohr not been able to read a game and make necessary adjustments and needed substitute.
He couldn’t even capitalize in the away game. Dam!!

You sacked Gernat Rorh for no reason and without a back up plan.. This is the result.. A local coach should never ever coach the eagles again.. These local coaches are too daft..Anytime we have a local coach, regardless of thelevel of talent we have our opponent can easily take us apart with superior tactical input.

@@sulaak There is a problem I have with Nigerians. They can tell you who needs to be sacked but they are absolutely clueless on a better replacement. That is why we are where we are today.. If I may use a political analogy, in 2015 a lot of Nigerians felt Jonathan needed to go but none of them had any idea of a better candidate to replace him.. This is how this country fell into the hands of Buhari. When you sack Rohr, sebi you will appoint Pep Guadiola or you sack Rorh and leave the position vacant?.. Like I always say, if you think you are having things rough, remember that they can actually get worse.. We felt 3rd place at the AFCON in Egypt was bad, but here we are having exited the AFCON in the round of 16 and failed to qualify for the world cup.

The Ghanaians played well and organized the team. But let me tell you, NFF should be scrapped. The coach of the Nigeria team should not be there. why was the German Coach sacked? it is not about the fancy of the game. Modern football is about tactics and style. When the Germany Coach was around, the game was boring but they were winning. Check the Ghanaian team and the GFA. They brought the Coach from Germany and local coaches from their country. GFA also appointed a technical coach from England, Chris Hutton. These men sat down and analyzed the Nigerian team. Now, look at the Nigerian team that analyzed the Ghanaian team. I am very sure that they did not analyze the Black Stars of Ghana. Going forward, Nigerians have a lot of players around the world. why are we using the old sets of players? We have good home-based players and professional players.

We didn't do enough as a team. The Super Eagles tot it was a walking game where you come and show off by walking in the park. The Black Stars know the game is business and they came to see the business thru.
Another aspect that is killing the Super Eagles is the Nigerian press. They hype the team and players a lot. Too many people who don't have business with the team gets too close to the team, most especially politicians. The team itself forgets the actual business and frolic with social media. The one that baffles me most is the team walk. What are they walking for? They should be perfecting tactics and strategizing how to get the business done.
One person will come and tell you that the walking is making the team bond. That period of walking would have been used to bring the mind and soul of the players to the business at hand and make them understand that this business needs to be get done with.
How do you think players mind will be settled when you walk them around with gun men carrying assault weapons

Pitch invasion was not about Ghanaians or the Ghana players.
We just express our dissatisfaction for the poor display
A message had to be sent
Our Nigerian government nor dey hear peace
      This is what they understand
Bribery has taken over our team
      No talent on the pitch
      So come off it
      This was not about Ghanaians
      We are one
At the world cup I have Ghana to support since there's no Nigeria.
      One love 🇬🇭

The fact that u failed to score in kumasi and still felt overly confident was surprising to me esp. Knowing that the away goal advantage was now wyt us. I know, u thought u will intimidate us in front of ur fans.

Congratulations Ghana team but you are that special. You still have a long way to go if you want to qualify from group stage at the world cup.

The jihadist Buhari Nigerian govt massacred many Christians of the Igbo tribe and his supporters wanted to go and dance at the World Cup, and fool the world that Nigeria is fine, but God did not allow that. No celebration for Nigeria while Igbos are still being massacred in their land and Nnamdi Kanu, the abducted Igbo freedom activist is still held in jail - a prisoner of conscience.

Ghana vs Nigeria is not like any other match. We love the competition between us because it’s fun, it’s something other African countries envy. We are more likely to share houses outside Africa because we understand each other, our broken English if you like is similar because we understand each other, then there’s the food competition. If I have money I will organise this matches at least quarterly because the fans from both sides needs the bragging rights. I live in UK and some of my happy times came when I shared house with two Nigerians. European football success can be attributed to rivalries between teams it helps generate money it’s also calms society to some extent. In the end we are one Africa with odds against us we cannot be divided because of football. If the evil Europeans did not draw the borders according to their greed perhaps West Africa would have been one country at least. Peace to you and family.
