Nigeria did not qualify and I remember we supported Ghana whole heartedly, at least in the city of Port Harcourt where I am from, Ghana was our adopted nation for the world cup since Nigeria did not qualify. If there is/are any match/matches I will never forget watching it these two matches; 2010 WC Ghana vrs Uruguay and 2922 WCQ Ghana vrs Nigeria. Anytime I watch these two matches I get awed with mixed feelings. That of joy and sorrow. Whenever I'm in Ghana I watch the 2010 Ghana vrs Uruguay. Then in Senegal I was the Ghana vrs Nigeria match. I always thank God for giving me the dual nationality make up. Ghana is indeed a great football nation just like Senegal. Ghana and Nigeria have played 57 times, Ghana has won 24 times, Nigeria has won 12 times with 21 draws between them. Nigeria has been in the world cup finals 6 times and have never gone beyond the 1/16 level. Ghana has qualified 4 time and in 2010 was qualified to the Quarter Finals and was eliminated by Uruguay.
